Thompson and Davis are comparable players, but Thompson is easily the superior rebounder. I also see more of an up-side in him. And a Boston 2nd rounder is almost worthless. When you have to throw in 2nd rounders to "balance" out a deal, you already know something isn't adding up. And while I rip on Donte Greene all the time, he's shown enough flashes of value for me to want to not toss him away for nothing without giving him at least another year to show his worth. He's at least a body on the bench for emergencies who can play multiple positions.

Big Baby is also a free agent this summer. If the King want him, go sign him. Don't trade for him.

This is pretty much a trade between JT and Big Baby. Alot of experts say that Big Baby is probably a starter on another team but I agree that the trade is not worth it because he will be a FA.
Lets get real, Donte probably won't be getting playing time anymore, he has done nothing this year is definitely not worth a first round pick.

Change that 2nd to a 1st and add in Avery Bradley and the discussion becomes quite a bit more serious.

I wouldn't mind trading for / or bringing in Big Baby next season, but not at that price.

what about Landry, Greene for Baby, Bradley?
Probably a bit of an overpay from Celtics side, but doubt it's enough to switch Greene for Casspi

this is actually a borderline on who will agree or not and why. bbd is a big time contributor of a contender. greene and thompson are promising but haven't proved anything. davis is a quality player who is a 6th man candidate and a starter on other teams. he may be a FA after the season but it would be an advantage for sacramento if they give them the break and to showcase what he can do as a starter in sacto. maybe switch the 2nd to a top 20 protected 1st or avery bradley.

Big Baby would be a nice addition, but definitely not at this cost especially considering he's a free agent at the end of the year.
