I don't get whats wrong with that? obviusly a pipe-dream and he was joking around, but why wouldn't he want to be a part of an all Syracuse team?

I wouldn't take it seriously at all.

i think you only misinterpret this if you don't know that they all played for syracuse. and do you really expect, in a casual joking conversation, for him to say NO I LOVE SACRAMENTO I WANT TO STAY THERE FOREVER AND EVER. nothing to read into here...besides even if he does want out, who can blame him. no pt, ny has a better record and is a more fun place to live
