Either Prince or Jeff Green would be good for the SF position. Preferably Green since he's younger, but whichever works out better (Prince would be a lot cheaper I think).

If the Kings can get David West as well, that would be terrific. Draft Irving. Move Casspi, Udrih, and JT to the bench. Resign Dalembert if he doesn't command too much.

Irving / Udrih / Pooh
Evans / Garcia
Green / Casspi / Greene
West / JT / Jackson
Cousins / Dalembert / Whiteside

That's a pretty good team with really nice depth. They'd be like a more complete OKC (assuming Cousins/Evans develop).

I like the roster you proposed. David West only available if he terminates his contract though. In looking at 2011 Free Agents if the Maloofs are going to put their money where their mouths are these are the guys I'd consider:

Kendrick Perkins (tough defender/has played on winner/been out with injury)
Carmelo Anthony (superstar we need but just dreaming its not happening)
Tayshaun Prince (solid vet/defender/played on winner)
Aaron Brooks (makes things happen/small/restricted)
Marcus Thornton (produced when given playing time last year/young/restricted)
Wilson Chandler (nice numbers/young/restricted)
David West (would be nice to have if he opts out)
Jeff Green (well rounded/young/restricted)
Jason Richardson (we could plug him in SG/older)
Nick Young (coming into his own/lit the Kings up/restricted)

Other than Carmelo none of these guys are superstars but this is what I see we're looking at. Some Guys like Perkins/Prince are veteran presence/glue guys. Nick Young intrigues me and I like Jeff Green as a player. They both keep us going with youth movement but problem is they're both restricted and we'd likely have to overpay for both. If we could get them and draft Irving that might be best we can get.

If the Kings can get players like Green and West I can see Dally staying but I dont think he will stay with the same team we have now. I like him but he needs to be on a contender not a rebuilding team.

Too bad the Kings didn't signed any shooters in the past offseason, they really needed their perimeter shooting for this team.

Guys like Redick, Morrow, Korver etc would look good right now.

^^I really don't think that the kings are very far from being a good team. Some of it comes down to our current personnel not having the right skill sets to compliment each other, and we could use a bit more talent. However; I think it's time to start consolidating talent into an 8 man rotation with a 9th guy who see's some minutes. I think we have many of the pieces in place already we just need to get a couple better fits or players who are a little more talented.

Current
Udrih
Evans
Garcia/Casspi
Thompson/Landry
Cousins/Dalembert

That roster has problems because only one position is set up with shooters, and the talent in that rotation is all in the front court we need on less player in the front court and one more in the back court.

IF we draft Irving or Walker we will be in good shape at the guard position. Lets be realistic here we are likely to end up with Walker. Our 3pt shooting will be improved but that doesn't mean we will be set. I want us to sign Jeff Green and play him at SF with Casspi being his backup and Green seeing some minutes at PF. And resign Dally if he will take only about a 8 mill contract, Don't want to over pay too much.

New Lineup
Walker/Udrih
Evans
Green/Casspi
Thompson
Cousins/Dalembert

That base configuration allows for a lot of options on the type of lineup we put out there. We could go small.
Walker
Evans
Casspi
Green
Thompson.

Or big
Evans
Casspi
Green
Cousins
Dalembert

And that also leaves us with Garcia playing 9th man duties getting subed in at many different spots in the 1-3 positions I think he'd still see about 20-25 minutes a night

I love the Sac big lineup.

They are a Laker beater. The Lakers play ZERO defenders starters.

They go with team offense and team defense.

Dalembert is not needed (Dally is the same size and weight of JT). He is so bad offensively in this system. He needs to play on a team that needs a system who needs a defensive specialist with a more pure PG.

In the game against NY with Dally's 8 rebounds/6 blocks, JT had 8 rebounds in 11 minutes or would have had 24+ rebounds/3blocks in 36 mins.

JT is far more valuable to this team leading the Kings in shooting and improved 12 rebounds per 36 mins (AND his minutes have decreased??!!!??)

The Tyreke at PG team will dominate the NBA when he is matched up at PG.

The big line up of Tyreke/Casspi/Donte/DMC/JT is just so big and talented on offense and defense as a team with (Garcia/Beno/draft pick/FA/Whitehead). That is a Laker killing lineup.

Why the MAGOOFS have not moved Dally to somewhere (NY or Orlando) for something? For a shooter and another expiring is beyond me because he doesn't fit here.

Same with Landry with DMC and JT with a higher shooting and double the rebounds, plus both Casspi and Donte got minutes last year at PF or C in emergencies or small matchups or foul trouble. Landry is not needed either.

Trading Martin for Landry was a mistake, move on and fix it as fast as possible, but the Maloofs cannot.

The Maloofs forced out Martin too early at injury low value and kept Landry too late and cannot trade him because he is expiring and a second round pick so he cannot be resigned after a Oct deadline until after the season.

Great KMart for Nada trade MaGoofs.
