Is the discussion for our top pick? Would never do that unless some serious names drop out. Wouldn't mind picking him up with that first the Kings get through a Landry trade if that is indeed the return they want for him.

I'm still hoping Kyrie Irving declares. We need a true pg and he looks like someone who can make everyone else play better as well.
No more 1 on 1 players.

Trade up if you have to take him.

Thoughts on Nolan Smith?

more than a dozen NBA scouts are present on Kentucky vs Mississippi state game at Rupp Arena, just to scout/watch Terrence jones and Brandon knight. Definitely the more than dozen nba scouts who watch the game are all nba lottery bound teams including us(kings). Like last year most nba scouts including the kings also watch the Kentucky/Mississippi state game at Rupp Arena to scout wall and cousins. Then on draft night we take cousins.

I really like Terrence jones, like what I’ve said on my many post that jones is my #1 choice but Brandon knight is also intriguing. Terrence jones is better than knight but knight is perfect fit to our 2 young stars (evans and cousins). He can be a ben/eric Gordon to tyreke evans. Cousins will be more effective in post if we had a player like knight, because cousins has a back to the basket game, knight can spread the floor then if the opponent double cousins, he can pass it to knight to knock the open 3’s. At the age of 18, knight already clip 40+% 3-pt fg, for a teen-ager that’s impressive. The way he played on his 1st year in college, I see stephen curry on him on curry’s freshman year. Yes he is the stephen curry in this year draft or probably better than curry in years to come, the kid is too young. Youngest player in college this year and youngest player on draft day. This kid is a shooter who can play point in nba like curry. He already broke freshman record in 20+ points game in Kentucky school history, definitely the kid can score and the kings needs scoring.

Stephen curry freshman year: 21 pts, 4.6 reb, 2.8 ast, 46% fg% 40% 3-pt%

Eric Gordon freshman year: 20.9 pts, 3.3 reb, 2.4 ast, 43% fg%, 33% 3-pt%

Brandon knight freshman year: 17.6 pts, 3.9 reb, 3.8 ast, 46% fg%, 41.8% 3-pt%

I just wish we had two high 1st round pick this year to draft jones and knight. If we can trade landry or Thompson for a 1st round pick, I’ll go for that.

Knight would certainly be someone to target if we can aquire a mid 1st from say, a Landry trade...

I wouldnt mind giving up some 2nd rounders or maybe a top 15 protected 1st to move up from that mid 1st. Can you imagine drafting both Jones and Knight?!

Might be there because not a lot of teams are looking for PG's these days, but no way Knight slips past that 8,9,10 region. Just no way. Depending on who declares he'd be a solid top 5 pick for us if we are around there.

Irving-Evans-X-Thompson-Cousins
x could be a better sf than greene via trade, giving away some pieces.
