GTFO here with that.

We have no obligation to be "loyal" to an organization that isn't loyal to our city. People in SAC weren't KC Royals fans b4 the move and won't be Anaheim Kings fans after and yes it is personal to a lot of people.

Whoa whoa whoa. you need to simmer down. You're completely taking what was said out of context.

He accused me of being a Laker fan. I resent that. I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy.

Fan A remaining loyal no matter what the team does on or off the court vs. Fan B who only maintains that loyalty based on locale. Not calling him a fairweather fan, rather which of the two is more 'fairweathered' compared to each other. I used the absurd to point out his absurdity in his accusation.

And I still find your entire argument to be absurd in of itself. Neither of those circumstances depict the characteristics of a fairweather fan so your argument is completely void. The fact that you threw that term out there shows you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it actually means to be a fairweather fan.

A team leaving a loyal fanbase certainly classifies as extenuating circumstances with regards to remaining a loyal supporter of an organization. Like I said, how many people in Sacramento were KC Royals fans prior to their move here?

That's the POINT. I'm using absurdity to illustrate his own absurdity in his accusations.
