Games like this are the reason I dislike Beno on this team and why I am not sold on the idea of bringing dalembert back following this season

The team played well for a lot of the game. Just the typical meltdown. Still a good game in many respects.

Eh. There were still way more people than a typical kings game this year

yep, but it also goes to show sacramento aint packing the arena like they used to be... as touching as that sold out game was its also alarming that these fans wont be there always like what the maloofs would want...

It also goes to show anyone with a brain that one of the worst teams in the league isn't going to draw. Gee, who would have guessed that?
I think the last game showed if they start putting a worthwhile product on the floor the fans will show up. I went to a few blowouts last year and it certainly didn't get me all riled up to spend another 100-200 bucks on going to the next game.

Damn, the crowd didn't show up this game. That's a shame.

Re: Kings vs. Blazers: 3/2
I think it was a one time deal in terms of sell outs. The "Here We Stay" movement really put the effort of selling out the Clippers game. It worked. But what about the other remaining home games? I think that's their fatal flaw. Not enough attention to the other home games.
================
Very good games from Thornton and Cousins btw. Hopefully, Cousins finishes strong for the remaining games of the season.
I'm curious how well both Thornton & Tyreke play together in the backcourt. In theory, it should work well. Thornton is a player that can spread the floor, handle the ball, defend (!) and play off the ball.

Re: Kings vs. Blazers: 3/2
I think it does show how the crowd can make a difference though. I think a full crowd might have pushed us over the edge in this game. I certainly don't think we would have beaten the Clippers without the crowd.

Agreed. I wish I could afford to spend 28 bucks on every home game, but I can't. It seems the only people who really want to pack the house can't afford it, and the ones who can, don't give a ****.
