JT's shot selection late in games is terrible. Also, Cousins can't shoot freethrows.

well that's that. terrible fourth quarter meltdown. fatigue in an overtime that should have never happened. i think that makes us 0-5 in OT on the year. get back soon tyreke evans

Kings got boned by the officials towards the end of the 4th tonight.

Should have had Cousins defending Jefferson for the rest of the 4th and all of overtime. I was screaming for that match up and Westphal didn't hear me until it was too late. hehehe.

Thornton and Cisco are going to take us from one of the sh*ttiest shooting teams to a one of the better ones.

Beno can't stay in front of his own shadow while facing the sun. Dude's D KILLED us tonight. Repeatedly left Bell open, just inexcusable. Doubling down on the post scorer destroyed the Kings for the 2nd straight game.

There are certainly things the team could have done better. There were some bad defensive lapses and Cuz really hurt us at the line. But I also feel comfortable saying that we would have wont his game with either refs that weren't horrible or with Tyreke.

Maybe if we keep losing, Anaheim will give the Kings back?

excluding overtime - best game i've seen Cousins play this year.

He was exactly what we all wanted him to be... if he can keep this up and learn and duplicate this kinda game, thats the 2nd best center in the league in a year or two right there.

For people who didn't watch the game, I just want to point out how pretty Cousins's 7 assists actually were. Most of them came out of him posting up and hitting a cutter or somebody going backdoor. He would have gotten more than 7 if the guys he passed to weren't fouled.

Also, his defensive aggressiveness was incredible. Dude was ferocious out there. He was out to block a lot of shots last night, connected with 3 according to the scorekeepers, and had a few goal tends that were close to being blocks. And even with that aggressiveness, he was never in foul trouble (played 43 minutes, finished with 4 fouls).

Although the missed free throws may stand out to some, a number of those misses came in overtime where we lost by 7, meaning we still probably would have lost even if he connected. In any event, his form is nice and has the potential to be an 80%'ish form the more experience he gets in pressure situations.

Lastly, Thornton is now my second favorite King next to Cousins. Not only can he shoot lights out, he plays with a lot of fire and intensity. The future is bright.

Cousins can't shoot freethrows

i think he's tired. this is the first time he played that long in 2nd half. If im not mistaken he played 27 minutes in 2nd half. If player played whole minutes in one half its 24 minutes, cousins played more than that, yeah 27 minutes of banging body and pushing. still a good job by westphal, by giving cousins more minutes, thats good for cousins and i like that.

Yeah. Cuz had to be exhausted. The team has played a lot of games recently, he played 43 minutes, and and they were in Utah. You can excuse the missed FTs a little, though that still hurt. I still wouldn't say it was his best game of the year though--maybe if fouls that should have been called were called, I could say that.

I have no doubt his FT % will be in the 80s.

And this kid is gonna get to the line ALOT with how the NBA is right now.
