Kings guard Tyreke Evans is probable for Friday's game at Indiana.
Evans will scrimmage today for the first time since being cleared to practice last week. Kings coach Paul Westphal said how Evans feels coupled with doctors' advice will dictate how much Evans plays.
Evans, who had been averaging a team-best 18.3 points, has missed the last 19 games because of plantar fasciitis. Westphal said it would be nice to add Evans to the rotation because Marcus Thornton and Beno Udrih "are having to play a lot of minutes."
"And certainly to be able to mix Tyreke in there gives us a very strong backcourt rotation," Westphal said. "And they can play together sometimes, too. It'll take Tyreke a while to get his legs, but I think the way Beno and Marcus Thornton are playing shows we have a chance to have a really good backcourt."

It will be interesting to see how Evans reintegrate himself with Thornton in the backcourt. I think for the first couple of games, Evans will have re-adjust himself to the gameplay. Missing 19 games will do that to anyone.
