Yeah I'd rather resign those two and get a few good role players/fillers than overpay one person.

I think the people who wanted a Dally trade were not sure if he would resign with the Kings.

I think he Kings are a better road team than home team. I don't mind the winning because most likely the Kings are going to trade the pick. If not, I wouldn't be mad if the Kings go from top-4 to top-7 in the draft. I'm really digging Brandon Knight. And guys like Terrence Jones, Kemba Walker will be still available at that range too.

As much of a goof Dalembert is, signing him should be a priority for the Kings. His rebounding and his presence in the post in general is too valuable for this team to lose imo.

Probably has something to do with Sacramento not being home anymore.

Winning games is the best possible thing for this team right now. The confidence that comes with winning games will be much more valuable to us than the difference between the players at 4 and at 7 in the draft. Brandon Knight has would be a very nice pick for us. He has an all around game that would compliment everyone in our back court. Also with our combo of Tyreke, Udrih, and Thorton we could afford to bring him a long a little more slowly.

Im not so sure we need another player in the backcourt. Evans/Thornton/Udrih looks very solid. Did anyone catch if they were on the floor together at some point today?

I don't think they ever were on the floor together. Tyreke isn't really "back" yet anyway.

Anyway, great win. Cousins' stats won't look pretty but he was getting fouled over and over with no calls. It was really getting ridiculous. But it's great that the team fought through that and got a great win. It's nice to see our guys execute for once. They actually kind of looked like a veteran team out there for the most part.

Winning tastes wonderful. I knew we were a three point shooter away. Not saying we're a playoff team or anything, but the difference of having an outside threat is so big for us right now. It also helps that our newly acquire three point threat does a crapload of other stuff for us too. Thornton is amazing.

And to echo some of you, I like our projected starting line up a lot: Evans/Thornton/Garcia/Cousins/Dalembert. This is going to put less pressure on us for the draft. One, we don't have to tank and put all of our hopes and dreams on some ping pong balls. And two, it'll be ok if we don't get an instant-impact sort of guy, because chances are, we're going to develop him from the bench, which is all good by me.

Could even go after a legit starting SF in the offseason or draft one.

As for Daly, would love to have him back but I don't know if re-signing both he and Thornton if it ends up taking a significant chunk of the Kings cap space is the right thing to do. Somewhere around the MLE and I'll be STOKED though! Thornton HAS to be re-signed however.

Id give dally 7mil per year and be happy about it. More than that and i think we should let him walk.
