Post#1 » by jcwkings » Fri Apr 1, 2011 1:27 am

denver fan here and yes the kings our my second favorite team hence my name. so im always watching the kings play and i think this trade could help both of our teams.

Denver trades: Raymond Felton, Gary Forbes

Kings Trade: Jason Thompson, im having a hard decision choosing one of your second players so ill give you guys these choices. donte Greene, Beno Udrih, or omri casspi. so would u guys pull the trigger on this trade?

^^I don't really think that Felton is any better than Udrih so I'm not really excited about trading for him.

Without Landry, the Kings need to keep JT for now, unless they draft another big. Whiteside probably wont be ready next season either.

I'd definitely consider it. Felton and Beno both have their strengths, but Felton is much better at running a team, which is where we really could use some help.

There's no way the Kings carry the contracts of Beno, Felton, and the newly re-signed Thornton while having Evans on the roster too. Too much redundant money. Beno would exit in any deal, and the difference between Felton and Beno isn't downgrading Thompson to Forbes.

D.O.A.

Kings need to maintain their big men and probably even augment them in the draft or free agency somewhere.
