i guess i still would.. people keep asking what difference does relocation make to me, because i'm an international fan and have nothing to do with Sac or USA... i can't really answer, but somehow it does have a difference.. planned on going to Sac at least for a few days, to finally see a live game, and feel the atmosphere of the arena, feel the culture, see what i was cheering about in past ~10 years, when everyone else around me aren't so interested in NBA :)

I've been thinking about this more and more and I'm not sure if I could just stop being a Kings fan. It'd be incredibly difficult. I know I don't want to support the Maloofs or So Cal, but seeing those guys play, it would be so hard not to root for them to do well.

Once the Kings file for relocation I'm done as a fan, and will be a retired mod.

^^ That'll be unfortunate ICMTM on both counts. Hope you reconsider!

Killed me too. I was also at the last game of the season. There was no way in hell I was going to watch that one from my couch. I can do that during the off-season...Thanks Tivo.

I sure hope it won't be the last Kings game ever..

As of right now I don't even want to think about the Kings not being in Sacramento, but if they do I'm not sure whether I'll be a fan or not, but I'd probably lean toward not being a Kings fan if they do.

I've got a group going on facebook (Kings Fans Against Anaheim) and a twitter campaign(@AgainstAnaheim) that relates to this. If this team does leave, the group is set-up to help us decide on who are new team will be.

No. The reality is we all became fans for a hundred different reasons; but the fact is that right now today we are Kings fans. And I can only speak for myself, but I'm invested in the future of this young team. I want to see where they go. I want to be there and see Tyreke and DeMarcus become a dominant force and 50 win ballclub.

This is not to bash your statement. The reason I became a Kings fan was because I grew up in the area and loved watching them every game. I don't really love the player argument because players move on. When I first became a fan I was rooting for Spud Webb and Mitch Richmond. I loved Webber, Peja, Vlade and everyone in between. I love the new guys too and it would be hard to not root for them. It's the reason I love watching Rocket games (Keving Martin). If the Kings leave I don't know what I'm going to do but it won't be the Sacramento Kings anymore. That's all. We are just mad at the Maloofs because they are taking that away from our city.

Thanks to all that have done work toward keeping the Kings here in Sacramento! Seriously, your efforts are appreciated. On top of that they have been effective it appears. I'll be stunned of the Kings stay because of all that was said about them leaving but I do hope it happens.

I disassociated myself from the Kings in order to soften the blow and now I have the task of reversing that, and I'm not certain I am up to it. We'll see in time I guess but it will still seem like a shakey, uncertain relationship.
