I don't care if it was 100% Westfail, Petrie should still be held responsible for letting him go through with it. And since Petrie has a history of bad trades before (Miller + Salmons for Noci), I can't say it would surprise me if Westfail is just the fall guy in this.

I guess its good that I was gone during the second half, although it is fun to watch players develop (if they ever do).

We drafted Jimmer because of his clean cut imagine and the ability to sell jerseys/tickets. Mission accomplished! Then on that draft night, we got rid of our only, and best PG on the roster, for an overpaid and declining John Salmons, which may turn out to be one of the worst trades for the Kings in the last 5-10 years (and that's saying something). Finally, we ditched one of our best defensive players in Sammy D (who got a modest 2 year deal from the Rockets) and picked up a player that might be out of the NBA when his contract is up, Mr. Travis Outlaw. Even Hayes was a stretch, considering how out of shape he came into camp, but at least it wasn't a step back like the rest of our offseason.
So in short, we put together a bunch of ball dominating players on one team and expected them to spread out and pass the ball. Good luck.
WRONG. They got him for his shooting and were supposedly going to run offense through Cousins, WHICH THEY AREN'T DOING!!! Why were they going to do this you ask? BECAUSE IT WORKED LAST SEASON!!!

No Kings player did, haha. I was begging to see at least one experimental play call, but nothing....except Tyreke, Outlaw, and Thomas drive the sucker into the ground and them clear Cousins out for more one on one time and time again (when he got the ball, twice I think

Bottom line, don't tell me you can't shoot when you have shooters, don't tell me you can't pass when you have two bigs alone that averaged almost 10 assists between them at the end of last season, just crap calls all the way around still. Now, it may still be residual but for craps sake man, ONE PLAY!?
