I wish I could bring myself to turn it off. I want the game to be over more than anything, but I just force myself to sit here, watching.

We match up HORRIBLY wIth Memphis. Take our beating and move on. Hopefully Jimmer can keep this fire for Portland, and now with smart hopefully next game well actually put someone in who can guard Wallace next game.

If only the Kings had Aldon Smith defending.

We simply don't match up with the Grizzlies.

It's just too bad some much of it was in garbage time and once again, some of the worst moments of this team came at the expense of team ball. Still miles ahead of where this team was a few games ago.

Begs the question about this teams future as a "running" team. I think they can be fairly up tempo but I'm not sure what Smart means by "running team". Tonight they "ran" and got run up plain and simple. I just don't think the best personnel on this squad is conducive to being a running team if that means trying to take 90 shots a game. This is a team that could thrive by using the clock, and setting up a killer half court offense, which is where some of this teams best moments have come from.

Fatigue is always an issue on back-to-backs. But it seems magnified for the Kings. They need to get in better shape. Four of our losses come from our second games on back-to-backs, and in those four losses, we've lost by an average of 30.25 points. 30.25. We have 7 losses that came on days when we had at least one day of rest prior. Our average margin of defeat in those games is 15. I'm not going to control for anything like quality of team, home or road, etc. because I think there's nothing there. The team needs to get into better shape. Everyone has a ton of back-to-backs this year, and not everybody is as terrible as we are in these second games.

Conditioning and medical issues have ALWAYS been an issue with the Kings.

At a certain point, ownership should have become tired of this and looked to the team conditioning staff and medical staff affiliations as core issues.

As well, this team has NEVER enforced play when you earn it philosophy. Always seems like guys get theirs if they are making the $$$$ whether they keep in condition or not.
