I believe Cleveland has a better record now so the Kings could possibly have the fourth pick

At least DeMarcus showed a lot of maturity in today's game.

lol @ Clippers fans thinking this win cancelled out Cousins word. For a team that's been good for 50 games they sure are getting big headed.

My bright-side interpretation is that Thornton didn't play. People don't give the guy enough credit for us playing well. His shooting spreads the floor for Cousins to operate down low. I was hoping Reke would capitalize on MT's absence like MT capitalizes on Reke's absence, but it's not happening.

Anyway, the fourth worst record is within grasp. We just have to continue to stay below Cleveland, Toronto, New Jersey, and Detroit, and we're golden. Given our schedule, it shouldn't be hard. We might even take #3 from New Orleans which has Eric Gordon Back. This is how I see our last 10 games playing out.

With the Kings luck they end up in a 4 way tie for 4th and lose the coin toss, pick the shortest straw, blink first, or whatever it takes to drop as far as possible, haha.

i saw box score and clippers stole ball from him like 4/5 times in just 5 mins.. that's unbelievable.

I don't have faith in the random lottery not going to the new Brooklyn Nets or the League Owned Hornets favor no matter what our standing. Let's see if i can predict the random lottery winner for the 4th year in a row. Only thing that helps us in the random lottery situation may be us staying in sac it would be a good story.

Hope we can sit MT for a while longer tbh. he's the last thing we need right now in this tank-fest.

I know the chances of getting the first pick is slim, im more happy that they have a higher chance of being in the top 5.

With our luck, we'll tie for the 3rd spot with 2 other teams, lose the coin flip, drop to 5th, and then end up drafting 8th.

SacKingZZZ wrote:This team needs shooting....BAD. What the F happened to this teams offense? Where is the off ball movement? Where is the passing? The last few weeks has been a complete exhibition on how important off the ball movement is for this team. Nobody is moving out there. This team has gone back to a post up, post up, iso offense and it's UGLY.

Our best perimeter shooter and LEADING SCORER was on the bench in street clothes. Anybody know what our scoring average has been since Thornton got hurt?

The bulk of our offense comes from Cousins & Thornton, with sprinkles of Tyreke and Thomas here and there. Thompson in foul trouble didn't exactly help matters either... outside of Cousins, this is a very guard-oriented offense.

We're at the lowest point we're going to get lottery-wise. We're not going to crack the top 3.

And as much as it is nice to go here and have our name come up pretty often now, it's still a total shot in the dark. I'd still rather see the team play together and win right now.

With that said, I guess it doesn't matter that much. This group, as it's currently assembled, isn't going to go too far IMO.

I'd rather see wins too. I wouldn't count this squad out yet, this team needs experience and there is only one way to get that: time.

I do have some fears that the Kings blow their money to re-sign Williams and Thompson. While it wouldn't be the end of the world, it would be mistake to wall in this team right now unless you are getting some real answers to your questions.
