Outlaw gets the start for Thornton to match up with Durant.

Looks like they're getting up to play a good team at home yet again. If things keep up like this, the tank may be in danger.

I like Tyreke at SG more than SF.

Outlaw gets an offensive rebound with nobody within 2 feet of him, right next to the rim, and he turns around and passes it to JT, who gets an offensive foul.

Yeah, I was probably wrong about the tank thing. :blank:

Yeah, he looks WAY more comfortable there. Really good activity so far.

They are doing great for the tank. Isaiah is trying too hard.

Cuz should practice against Hassan where Hassan is always in shotblocking position. Would be great practice for him.

Sam Amick

As @mr_jasonjones noted, Tyreke Evans’ agent, Arn Tellem, made a rare appearance tonight to express his concerns about the former Rookie of the Year’s role. He met with Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie, Evans’ brother, Reggie, and another Tellem rep as well. Source close to Evans says he’s frustrated with how marginalized he’s become. Evans’ reps are encouraging him to be more vocal about his perspective going forward. No extension discussions (he’s eligible this summer), FWIW.

Kings need to end the Tyreke era.

LOL

He's been arguably our best player tonight aside of IT.

The Marcus Thornton/Tyreke combo is turning into Tyreke/KMart. One of them have to come off the bench.

Nice over-the-shoulder assist by Hayes to Jimmer! I'm not counting on winning this, but we're within striking distance.

More pretty passing by Hayes. Where has this been all season...

There the whole time, just wasn't used. Plus guys are starting to move without the ball, amazing the difference it makes. Somewhere around the all star break Hayes was putting up around a 4 to 2 assist to turnover ratio per 36 minutes. Also happened to be the time the Kings had a stretch as the top assist team in the league for some games.

Not really. Thornton isn't really a super high usage player. It's the combination of all 3 of Evans, Thornton, and Cousins. It can work in theory, but obviously not like this. You'd want to fill role players, low usage types around those 3 to make it work. Somewhat like the Thunder. They have 3 guys who are going to get all the focus offensively and have placed nothing but role players around them who don't need nor want the ball.
