You guys do realize that the last difference between a player who has top 5 NBA talent for his position being where Cuz is at 18/11 and low FG % and the same guy putting up 20+ and near 50% FG is getting a lot more foul calls?

At this point I'd rank the centers
Howard
Bynum
Garnett
Monroe
Marc Gasol/Horford/Boogie/Hibbert

If Boogie shoots even 48% this year I'd say he's a lock for the 4th spot and 3rd depending on if Garnett declines/plays center

Are Garnett and Monroe centers? I always thought they were power forwards. BTW I don't have Garnett anywhere close to top ten, dude has declined a lot.

Monroe is a center
Garnett is a PF but played center for the last 3 months of the season when they went with the Rondo-Allen/Bradley-Pierce-Bass-Garnett lineup and everything[including Garnett] stepped up for Boston. He was DPOTY caliber at that point

Yeah but you make his point with your own statement.

Garnet only played at that level for three months. He just doesn't have the gas left to go out, play a sixth month season plus playoffs.

That isn't even top ten.

Cousins will improve when he learns how to not reach and commit the silly foul or the frustration foul. This means he stays on the court. He has to become a better finisher at the rim this will bring his FG% up and then he has to learn how to draw fouls. If he does these things he will not need more shots and his averages will go up.

I hear everybody knocking the fact that Smart wants an uptempo offense but I love it; this will help the Kings get easy baskets. Once Cousins understands that it will be easier to get deep post position. Shaq did it for years; he'd run right down into the middle of the lane, either it's an easy dunk or 2 freebies and in Boogie's case he is a good shooter from the line. Last year, was screwed up due to the in season coaching change but they know Smart is the coach and I am pretty sure he told them that they have to be in much better shape.

I like the versatility of their scorers: Reke & IT can beat you off the dribble and get into the lane, Thornton can shoot it standing still or off the dribble and has really improved his penetration game, Boogie can face up drive or knock down the mid range and elbow jumper and his post up game is coming. T-Rob can do the same things that Boogie does but can play above the rim also.

All that is left is that above average spot up 3 point shooter............Find him Petrie!!!!!

My expectations for Boogie start with maturity. The talent is there for him to dominate, its not his talent that is keeping him from taking the next step. I want to see DMC grow as a player and a person, winning the battles inside his head. The stats will come, so im not too focused on that.
