Big Cuz and Technical fouls, is it really that bad?

Post#1 » by blind prophet » Sun Nov 25, 2012 7:43 pm

Thought you guys may find this interesting.

Back in 2000

Vlade was second in the NBA with 18
Jason Williams and Cwebb were 11th in NBA with 13

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/playe ... /year/2000

If you look around year to year back then you will see both Vlade and Cwebb getting their fair share..

And for the record the most Cuz has had in a year was 14

Rasheed Wallace has had as many as 41 in a single season.

He needs to stop with the chatter, but that was also at a time when you had to really give them something to T you up for. Now, one stare and you're T'd up.

If it wouldn't put him off his game I wouldn't mind.

But it does - and so is every single foul he gets btw - all of them he NEVER accepts even if they're the most obvious fouls in the world.

While I do not disagree that he ness to stop putting on the Kobe act about the calls until he at least approaches the Kobe credentials.

At the same time, watching for now twelve games of his third season, nothing seems to have changed in regard to the complete disrespect paid him by the refs. Thus I can understand the frustration.

Cuz needs to be careful because he could get a reputation with the refs and then get less calls later in his career. but i don't blame him because he is just passionate during the game. Wouldn't hurt for some of our other players to give a rats ass during the games.

On the other hand there is nothing I hate more than a ref making a wrong call and then giving a Technical to the player complaining about it. If you didn't get the freakin call wrong the player would "disrespect" you for making the wrong call. NBA refs have to be the worst officials in any sport. And I think that sleezball David Stern has something to do with it.

If Cousins plays the game without saying anything he will get calls eventually. Even guys like Kobe had to earn that right.

Exactly, at some point you have to realize that they aren't going to change; just play ball!!!!
