Lakers Trade

Now, I know normally you wouldn't trade with a team in your division but the Kings just need to make a move to save themselves from their coach.

These are minor trades but one that could potentially help both teams

Trade 1

Lakers send Devin Ebanks
Lakers receive Isaiah Thomas

Kings send Isaiah Thomas
Kings receive Devin Ebanks

I don't think I really have to explain the reasoning for any of these trades; they're all obvious. Isaiah would be good for the Lakers, maybe to good but I think Ebanks has real potential and may be ready to bust out but he wasting away on the Lakers bench.

Trade 2

Lakers send Devin Ebanks, Earl Clark
Lakers receive Aaron Brooks

Sacramento sends Aaron Brooks
Sacramento receives Devin Ebanks, Earl Clark

Same as above, Clark is an addition just to make the salaries match

Trade 3

Lakers send Devin Ebanks, Earl Clark
Lakers receive Jimmer Fredette

Sacramento sends Jimmer Fredette
Sacramento receives Devin Ebanks, Earl Clark

Same things said before; the fact of the matter is that the Kings need to move one of these guards and the Lakers need a PG and I think Ebanks instantly moves ahead of James Johnson. He may not be the answer but he can shoot and would add the spacing the Kings so desperately need on offense.

Is the first trade missing something? There is no way Isaiah is worth Nash and Ebanks.

I'd consider trade 2, not trade 3.

Really, I'd only be targeting Pau. Probably using a combo of JT, Brooks, and some bench depth/salary.

As bad as Johnson has been, Ebanks isn't any better. All of those trades help the Lakers quite a bit and do pretty much nothing for us.

I have to disagree; he is much better on offense and would bring a balance to the offense

As a Lakers fan I have to tell you guys Clark and Ebanks are absolutely worthless. Clark is a decent shot blocker, and is decently athletic, but brings nothing else. Ebanks is a moron, and doesn't take basketball seriously enough, he has good tools, he's athletic, he has size, but he's a low motor guy(which to me says more about his effort than anything). Ebanks is absolutely my least favorite player on the roster at the moment, he just got a dui, he parties too much, and he spends too much time on his music career. I'm thinking he's out of the league at the end of the season, and that's if the Lakers don't cut him.

Trust me, we'd be ecstatic if we received any of you guards for those bums.
