It'll allow for JT and Patterson to establish their value before the tradeline. I was worried about a Kenny Thomas like situation all over again with JT.

Well, that sucks. Yeah, gives JT a shot to play and really it does solve what had to have been an unanswerable question of how to fit all those bodies into the front court rotation. Malone kind of dodged a bullet here.

Everything is setup like before. But at least JT is serviceable atm.
No need to hurry Carl back, playoffs not likely, and we don't want to be stuck with his contract and JT's if Carl does not recover properly.

It's unfortunate to see Landry out. He would have been, probably, the #1/#2 scorer for the second unit.
That said, I think we are fine with JT/Patterson/Hayes depth.
