Gay hasn't come in and saved our team and made us a playoff team automatically BUT he has filled a nice hole we've had at the small forward position, and has been a good second option next to Cousins. He hasn't tried to do too much, and he's worked nicely in our offense for the most part for not having here too much. Very few players would come in with the team we have and make us an automatic playoff team. It's not like us losing is the worst thing in the world this season either. No one thought Gay would come in and make us a playoff team By himself. He's just a piece of the puzzle and fills a position of need.

And this is coming from a guy who's not much of a Gay fan but it's been nice to watch someone with the capability of actually playing the small forward position.

I really like your team . I'm a bobcats/future hornets fan. I think if you guys could get a defensive pf and wing into the starting line up and turn Thorton , outlaw , Thompson into a decent bench you guys could make the playoffs in 2 years . At least you guys will get a decent pick and can trade to fill holes or hopefully get one of the big 3 in the draft. If Hay opts out for a longer deal I think he's worth 4/40 you guys will have enough cap space for it, a decent player and the mle.
