And done several days before the draft. I'm sure the FO had many different schemes regarding how to move on the draft both with and without Gay in their future. This gives them the ability to focus on those trades/picks with Rudy on the roster going forward. It's good to have pros that act like pros.

So we have our 2 foundation blocks officially now.

Time to build the proper roster Pete, Rudy will most likely extend for a hefty price, so what's our next step?

Good, good, good. Now this will give the Kings more ammo to make moves on draft night because they know that the core of Gay and Cuz is intact.
