It is night and day when a game managing point guard (Collison) is in the game compared to a inept ball stopping wannabe chucker (Sessions). We do not deserve this win but I knew that as soon as that BS Technical was called on Cuz this was over. Again, I am not blaming refs for anything other than the last call... which if not tipped... the play should have expired. The clock did not start until it left his hands. It is a shame because Memphis did everything they had to do to win that game. But, based off the rules of the NBA... that was our W, technically.

I noticed this too as a problem with our second unit. Malone has to figure out a way of keeping at least Cuz, Thompson, and <cringe> Hollins on the court just so we have some size to oppose the opponent's bench. Landry and Evans, as good as they are at what they do, cannot match up or even score easily on a bench with 7 footers. The Grizz's bench is notoriously shallow, but at 6' 10" and 7', Lauer and Koufas made the 6' 8" Evans and 6' 9" Landry look like midgets.

Also an important reason why Cousin's needs to stay out of foul trouble. Teams can just beat up on us with their size if our most (read only) opposing big man takes a seat.

You can look at any combo that doesn't involve Cuz and they get demolished. There is kind of a reason for that too. It's the same reason IT wasn't a good fit last year when Cuz wasn't ready to step up to the plate defensively. You can't have Sessions guarding the front door, and anyone not named Demarcus Cousins guarding the backdoor. The defense is just as solid with Landry and Cuz as it is with JT and Cuz. When JT and Landry were out there together it didn't work either. Also, the Grizz started killing the Kings on pick and rolls because the Kings are a little too reliant on help defense at times. The Kings paid for it with the corner 3, just like they have for 4 years.

You can analyst each and every way you want, the matter of fact is we simply choked, and we lack mental focus, 2 lane violations are u freaking kidding me

this coach is god awful really i wish im wrong, but he riles too much on players ability to score rather then implanting a system that helps role players to be more productive and take little pit of the pressure of the stars players, which is what coaches do get the best out of he role players, our stars get their point, but its all one on one scoring not a lot of ball movement and lots of shot clock violations

really hes glorified musselman

I have to disagree with your point of view on Malone. He is a fairly new head coach and you can already see a culture change. Give him time just like we need to give our young team time.
