This Cousins-less team just didn't have the will to win on a back to back. This game was there for them to win they just never got into their game.... I think the team is running too much iso with Gay on the wing. I would much rather see Gay post up..... Need to see consistent aggressiveness for McLemore. Tonight he didn't step up, he played third wheel..... JT finally had his shot falling. Figured that would happen eventually given his fg% on the year. .... KEEP UP THE GOOD PLAY DWILL! ...... Stauskas needs to shave his head like he did at Michigan, get assinged to Reno, beat up on some D leaguers, and get that swagger back..... McCallum was very average today outside of his hustle play that saved a basket. I'd have to think not playing consistent minutes is stunting his growth as a player (damn you Sessions ) .....

Man I always agree with virtually everything you write here. I'd love Stauskas to be sent over to the D-league so he can drop 20 a game for a while and build up his confidence.

D-Will was nice but its too bad Casspi's game seems to disappear with Cousins out of the lineup. The other positive take aways from this game were that Thompson seems to have that high low entry feed down to a science - he's recognizing when to flash to the middle and the guards are recognizing when to pass it to him to create the post-entry feed - I love **** like that; The Sessions/Collison lineup seems to be good, all the more reason to send Stauskas to the D-league; and Malone seems to be bringing in the bench in a more staggered fashion which I prefer.

Did anyone like the JT at C & DWill at PF combo? I thought it was pretty effective today. It sure beats Hollins at C & JT at PF combo, imo.

Yup... We desperately need more play making with Cousins out. If nothing else Williams tends to move around and make things happen more than our other options. I only hope we stop playing Landry at C - that seriously needs to end.
