Malone with another blown lead.
TNT guys said we are installing new offensive sets 20 games into the season. That sounds like some Oakland Raiders level of coaching.

I have never seen him draw up a decent play off a time out. Ever. Iso Rudy when he's 3 for 14? Draw up a play for soulness and not ready for NBA Nik when we're down by 3? Come on now. It's a **** joke.
Then you don't watch a lot of basketball, and 3/14 or not, Rudy is still the best Kings player on the court. If Cousins was 3/14 and did the same thing, he wouldn't be getting the same crap. You typically trust your player with the ball.

Cousins goes 3 for 14 because he hustles and misses a couple of gimme put backs. We ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get a lead in the **** 4th and then go iso iso iso thinking it's going to get a win. IT CLEARLY DOES NOT. AT ALL. EVER. NEVER EVER EVER. We don't have **** Harden on this team or Durant. I guess it was better than drawing up a **** play for goddamn Nik.

- That bench still kills us. Sessions although better for him is still a dud. Sessions and Stauskas might be the worst bench backcourt.. Landry still cant really move... Just a hardship.. PDA got work to do there
-Rudy has had a little trouble being clutch with Cousins absence. Won't hold him accountable for the last shot since it was down but it seems like its been games where we have wondered if he could have done more down the stretch
-Nik. I thought the trade off to him having an apparently more limited upside was that he was going to be more NBA ready.. We are so far removed from any ROY talk.. The guy is just underperforming to expectations and I don't look forward to his minutes at this juncture
With all of that said, I thought the team gave a quality effort and represented well on national TV to a good opponent. I've stopped counting the wins since I already know a serious post season run is unlikely. Just want growth

the positive that i can have from this game is ben! I'm impressed or somewhat surprised at what he has done so far.. he sucked last year and showed nothing during summer league and at the start of the season, but he has turned it around for the good!
so far, this team can't afford to rest cuz, collison and ben... its like they have to play the full 48min game, cause once they sit theres seems to be a big drop off.. we don't have capable players to sub in for those 3 positions..

Derrick again showing energy out there. I understand the calls for Omri but I also understand the franchise, in a rebuilding year, going with a 23 year old former 2nd pick to see if he can string some consistency together, particularly if he's balling in practice. It's a tough call. Each time Derrick gets my hopes up he looks like a scrub the next game.. Consistency if we can

Malone is not to be blamed for this loss. I mean Without Cousins we are lucky to get a big man to give us 8-10 points. We have no front court threat and the worst 3 point shooting in the league. I honestly see the silver lining in this stretch without Cousins. We haven't got blown out in a single game. Every single game has been close and competitive for the most part. With this time without Cousins I hope the team comes together even more when he actually does come back. Just think, if we had Cousins for all these games, I can't see us losing any of them. Of course that wouldn't be probable, but you know what I am saying. All this Malone hate is just absurd. Look at what he has to work with. Reggie Evans, JT, Hollins, Landry.

I still think this is all a symptom of an overall bigger problem personnel wise, but Malone has to get his team to stick to some type of play without Cousins and realize that some players on this team are continuously hurting their chances to win games. This team has gone to shambles without Cousins even when he was playing. As soon as he hits the bench this team seems to fall apart. Regardless of personnel issues if this team wants to be in the playoff discussion it's time to right the ship and tighten those belt straps. He has to find a consistent way for this team to play.

Landry has had a solid year, I think he needs to focus his bench unit around the offensive abilities of Carl. He's the one player off the bench you can rely on to get you points in the half court.

I completely agree. But without Cousins, Landry is being forced to play way out of position which is horrible because he is already an undersized PF. As much as a love Evans, his defense on bigger players just doesn't cut it and he doesn't provide any offensive threat. Hollins is simply horrible and I wish we waive him ASAP.
