There's multiple factors. Your comment ostensibly implies the coach doesn't matter. I'm sure you'd agree coaching is important.

Players are still human. You can't continuously **** on them and expect them to be unaffected.

You're right, but at this point, they're crapping on themselves. They're not a 5-15 team no matter who's coaching, so some blame needs to shift to them. They know it too, because they say as much after every game. They're just not translating their words into action.

Oh yea without a doubt a lot of this falls on them as professionals. Hence my use of the phrase "multiple factors"
