This gives us over $15 million in expiring contracts this offseason.

Basketball-wise, I have a feeling this is related to Karl's comment, "no offense to anyone on the team but Cousins is our best passer." Now it's Andre Miller. I'm not sure how many minutes he can handle but he'll be a great mentor and teacher for our young guys. I like this move a lot.

And maybe he'll be one of Karl's assistant coaches next year.

Sessions was downright terrible with Sacramento. I think Jason Hart was more of a factor than Sessions lol

I'm also a little surprised at the overall enthusiasm from the board considering how little interest there has been for either trading for or signing him in the past. But this is probably more due to getting rid of Sessions.

I wanted him last year, and proposed a Williams swap before we signed Sessions I'm pretty sure before too either here or trades forum.

I know there was another fella or two around that wanted him as well.

I guess I'm thinking a couple years back when the conversation was really heated around acquiring a "real" point guard, his name was conspicuously absent from the conversation even though he was available. I guess I do recall his name being brought up a few times, but there wasn't any traction to any conversation involving him which meant to me there was little interest in him. Part of that is on me too. I should learn to speak up more in such cases.

Thanks for giving me the lowdown over there on the Wizards board.

I wish you'd get more diverse opinions here, but none of us liked what we saw in Sessions, good news is this system and coaching may of have something to do with it.

Miller can still go. I would certainly be interested in bringing him back next year.

If he struggles in Washington it would give me a better perspective of him actually. Part of me thought he was coasting here out of lack of respect for the organization or being mad he couldn't beat out Collison as starter

Oh I don't think so, but I'll feel a little bad for them if he is done, Miller is fitting in nicely here.
