Kings @ Wizards
Fun game to watch so far at the half. Cousins dominating, hopefully Karl is the right coach for him.
Ben looks non effective. It's tough to fully support him
This is without Rudy as well. When I read some of the other forums I get the gist that there is a growing discontent with him. I think he's our second best player and we should give it time. But I don't know about his trade value. He's playing like a borderline all star for us but due to reputation and what might be seen as our haste to move him he IMO wouldn't be moved for serious value. So I would like to give it time and in general I'm a fan of his

Re: Kings @ Wizards
Rudy's contract is viewed as cheap to fair, so he certainly has trade value once this season ends.

Not sure if they are missing a game or two, but looks like both of us are 3-7 post all star break.

I guess it's just my perception. The contract IS good. 3/40 is a steal for what Rudy brings. But he has been maligned like few other players, not a lot of folks watch Sacramento, so if Sacramento were actively shopping him it might look odd. I still think he has positive value, but IMO it might be better to maximize

I'd figure he could land someone in the 10-15 million range who was close to being an all star like he is, but most likely never will be in return.

Re: Kings @ Wizards
Pretty much the anti-Karl offense. There's no ball movement at all, and it begins with our guards. They just dribble, stop, get trapped, make **** pass, turnover.
We miss you Darren

You know, maybe Karl is indeed tanking. The Kings are of course not a good shooting team but right when the other team goes to the typical 3rd quarter zone he puts in a lineup that has almost none of the Kings shooters in it. At times the only player that is capable of hitting a spot shot is the SG.

Seriously we could be.
Fire Malone, and refuse to replace Corbin until the Magic get interested in Karl.
Even so hold him out till the break.
If the Magic were not interested I bet Corbin is still the coach till the off season.

Re: Kings @ Wizards
They need more shooters but this team does have some shooters in it for craps sake. DWill is even hitting them from time to time. There is just no ability to adjust. Everything with this team is at the rim. Cousins at the rim is one thing, but every perimeter player is just too focused at getting to the rim and that's the one flaw in Karls offensive system with this squad.

Re: Kings @ Wizards
Grant and Jerry need to realize that the other team defensive change and the lack of change from the Kings offense is what causes these turnovers. The other team knows exactly where the Kings are going, how they are going to get there, and when they're going to be there. You can't just stop scoring for stretches like this because it will all fall apart.
Pete, you still have work to do pal.

Having a 19pt halftime lead and turning it into a 16 point loss....good thing tanking isn't against the NBA rules....but point-shaving.....I think I should be calling my bookie for the next SAC game.

You should get the word out, I'm not 100%, but it looks possible to me.
But unless it comes from an outsider most won't even consider it.
They'll reference early games like Dallas or Memphis and say we did the same then.

Re: Kings @ Wizards
Ben is slowly losing me. I was appalled by his play last year but after the good start I really felt we had a building block. To me the biggest need in the starting 5 is slowly shifting from PF to SG for this offseason. If he continues the poor, intermittent play, regardless if he' just turned 22, I can't have confidence in him starting for 2015-2016
