No,I dont believe I am the only one who is realizing this. They dont have any post defenders. And whenever Cousins goes onto low post something good happens for us.But for some reason he stands behind the 3 pt line and tries to give flashy passes and turns the ball over.He is not doing what he is supposed to do,he is trying to do what Rondo is supposed to do and fails miserably.

First off, he can play well like that, but you have to understand, he's playing the role of a "4" in the dribble drive offense. He is exactly where the coaching staff wants him to be in that set. If you disagree with it, talk to the coaching staff.

Not in this game. This game he played that "4" role when we had Rondo-Collison(Mclemore)-Gay-Casspi-Cousins. So we played with 5 players who always standed behind the 3 pts line unless Casspi or Gay cut to the basket. You are right that it is his role when he plays together with WCS and Koufos but that was not the case

Which takes us back to my point: he was preserving his body

Yes in the DD he hangs out at the 3 too much for my liking BUT that didn't stop the Kings from running plays for him down low (pre injury), OR Cuz passing up the shot for a drive to the hoop. Now he looks to be in pain every time someone touches him.

I think the coaching has DeMarcus by the 3 pt line. It's not his choice its the scheme IMO

I want to believe in Collison.. but he looks lethargic and is taking the ball out of Rajon's hands.. Curry might fit better

I feel the same. Ultimately, I think he's the best option to trade right now. If we can package him up with some other pieces (Koufos?) and grab a nice wing player I'd be satisfied. I think our recent trend shows we don't need WCS and Koufos together. Too many non-shooters.

Nice victory, looks like you guys have 3 more winnable games ahead on this home stand.

What has happened to Collison, he doesn't look like the same guy from last year. Always thought GK worked well with that type of PG ?

Might be personal, probably doesn't like being replaced by Rondo

His positioning on the floor was still that of the "4" in the dribble drive and it has been for much of the season. They actually use Casspi and Gay down there near the basket sometimes as well. This game was a little different though in the sense that they ran more motion (back cuts), and did go to Cousins in the block more than normal. I think playing Cuz in the high post as a passer is a great option and the opposing defense will react accordingly. I didn't see much wrong with the offense in this game, what I did see was wide open 3 after wide open 3, which has been the real issue with this team this year. I liked the offense they ran in this one, the defense is still pretty bad and they really need to make adjustments there.

One thing I thought was interesting early was the pick and roll coverage. For the first time this year I think they had Cuz show way out on the screen and bump the ball handler. I'd like to see a little more of that myself.
