Interesting that Karl has gone with a tight 8 man rotation on a back to back day.

Such a good performance that I can't even bring myself to point out Belinelli's +/-. Great game! Set that tone for the playoff run!

If we play with the intensity that we started the game with we can easily push for a playoff spot.

The question is:

Can they do that on a consistent-basis, no matter who is the opponent?

We have the pieces to compete for the 8th (& maybe 7th) seed but it is the consistency issues and the mental aspect of the game that is a struggle so far. Can they overcome this? It seems like they needed a reason to beat the Raptors (see: disappointing Wolves loss). But what about that same Wolves game couple of nights ago? The Kings came to into that game thinking it will be an easy one but failed badly early game. They needed the punch in their mouth to respond. This isn't the marks of a good team. There has to be some sort of "looking at yourself in the mirror" moment for every player on this roster. They have to ask themselves "can I play the full 48 minutes without letting up?" Can they fight through adversity well enough and not implode? These are some questions that has to be answered before thinking about any playoff aspirations.

Yup. That Wolves game was about as bad as it gets. Hopefully that was the come to Jesus moment and this team shows some consistent professionalism.

Amazing how everybody's tune changes from game to game.

Meanwhile, despite the ups and downs, we've been hovering around 1-2 games out of the 8th seed almost the entire time. Right now, we're exactly 1 game behind. We're not that far off, and it won't take much more to get on a really good track. Also, kind of ironically, the Warriors' dominance is giving us the cushion and time we need to work out the kinks.

its probably because you won't know which kings team shows up from game to game..one game they play hard and inspired then the next game they suddenly forget how to play basketball..

i don't mind this type of western conference..it gives us weaker teams a chance to get playoff spot.. we won't stand a chance in the playoffs but i would love to get this team back there...

It's really a sign of how schizophrenic this team has been. And the same reason why people are so frustrated at times. We're generally the more talented in most matchups but the night-to-night results haven't been there.
