The Celtics need some rim protection, and some wing scoring from the SF position as a compliment to Crowder and Olynyk.
What do Kings fans think of Koufos, Gay and McMelmore for a package of Lee, Jerembko (expiring contracts) Sullinger, Bradley, Young, Rozier and the Celtics own draft choice in 2016.
My thoughts was that the kings could afford to do without Koufos and let WCS assume more min going forward. Gay is 30 and still productive but it appears that the kings a a couple of years away, and how effective will he be then. Mac is being replaced by Bradley.
Sullinger is a good fit as his shot allows Cousins some room underneath, but he is a solid rebounder never-less. Bradley is locked up long term for much below market contract. This frees up quite a bit of caproom for the Kings. Rozier will develop as a backup to Rondo, Young may get more time in Sacremento than he did behind Crowder, Jerembko and Turner as Stevens has gone for wins at the expense of developing the kids. The celtics draft choice will make up for the choice that the kings owe the Bulls next year.

I like this but I don't think that your fellow C's fans will be in board as they seem to think that anything that is not a blind steal for your team is "not enough value". But this makes both "win now" and future sense for both teams.
Of course that means it won't happen

Well it is tough to make a trade fair both sides, I would have loved to keep Bradley and throw the dallas 1st in there instead, but then it was a bunch of kids for a very good scorer, and a disappointing SG, with Sullinger and Koufos somewhat even when you look at need and salary.

I'd do it. Bradley is the 3 and D guy we need and Sullinger would be a high-quality big off the bench. The pick would be nice too given our situation. You gotta give to get, so yeah this has my vote of approval.

The Kings take that and run. I just hope after it would mean they let Rondo go, because Bradley and Rondo are too small for the west right now. This also gives the Kings options in FA to find that 2nd option hole that trading Rudy leaves.

I don't think you need to convince us Kings fans on the deal. If I were you I'd try to convince your fellow Celtic fans because I can't them liking this deal at all. I'm not a big Sullinger fan but grabbing Bradley would be Christmas in February.

Eh, I guess I'd do this trade but it seems like a lateral move for Boston.. Take out Young and Rozier and I'm 100 percent on board. As is, I think it overpays for Koufos especially..
Bradley/Jerebko for Rudy seems fair to me, for example. So does Sullinger for Mclemore. So more expirings, Young, Rozier and a 1st just for Koufos, who was the eighth least unattractive center on the free agent market, feels like an overpay.

Not interested in anyone on the Celtics. I would only trade Cousins for an an elite wing player that could defend anyone and score like Paul George or Kawhi Leonard.
