this is going to be a brutal 8 game stretch that we have next.. this upcoming stretch might tell us if we make the playoffs or not

Yup we are 3.5 games back of the Jazz in the 8th with 28 games to go. We have 14 games vs current playoff teams left. We are 2-0 vs Utah with one more matchup, 0-2 vs Hou with one more matchup and 0-2 vs Por with one more matchup.

If we make the playoffs it means we're coming in hot and playing great basketball against winning teams. That's one way to look at it.

We actually have two more games vs Portland, March 28th and April 5th. Which could prove to be two of the most important games...but first we have to get through this stretch around 500.

Not really. There are all sorts of scenarios where we don't play well vs the best teams on our schedule and still over take the two teams immediately ahead of us. All that really matters is that we gain ground and not loss it in respect to those 3 teams, well really the lower two.
