Should the Kings sign Joe Johnson?

Post#1 » by Javidad » Thu Feb 25, 2016 8:24 pm

Since Joe Johnson is being waived by the Nets do you think the Kings would/should try to sign him for the remainder of the season in an effort to improve their 2 guard rotation. I honestly think he has some miles left in those needs and could be a great mentor for Ben.

I would say our chances of signing him are very slim but he would be a nice addition for sure.

Can't see any scenario where he'd want to come to the Kings but if we can grab him for cheap I see no issue with it especially if it means less time for Marco.

Unless he was in Rudy and Rondos wedding as well? Lol lol it'd be funny if he went to the cavs only because if he would of went there during Brons first stint that may have changed everything

He is giving up $3 million remaining from his contract. He is likely to jump into a contender or a team that is primed to make a good run in the POs. The Kings aren't close to those things.

He's better than our other twos offensively... but does he still play the 2 or is he more of a 3 now?
