Question from Celtics fan: "How much do you want for Boogie?"

You're getting a pretty well-respected head coach and opening a new stadium. But assuming you can't turn it around by the trade deadline, and it doesn't appear you'll get into the playoffs, Boogie is probably gonna to walk out when his contract ends, and leave the Kings with nothing to show for it. In which case, you'd be better off trading him and getting something in return. And Boston has the assets to make it happen NOW rather than later.

Let's pretend I'm Danny Ainge....does this sounds like an offer you'd accept for Cousins AND McLemore:

2017 Brooklyn 1st (lottery, likely Top 3)
2017 All 2nd round picks
2018 Brooklyn 1st (lottery, likely Top 3-5)
2019 Boston 1st
2019 Clippers 1st
2019 Memphis 1st
Olynyk
Johnson
Jerebko
Their choice of any combination of rookie-sophomore prospects, including: Hunter, Young, Jackson, Bentil, Nader

It depends. Hard pill to swallow if the Brooklyn picks miss out on top 3 both years. The 2019 1sts more than likely will be mid-late 1sts which isn't special. None of the players you offered get my attention.

I'd say this package has potential but the Kings take on all the risk. For that I'd pass.
