Serious boycott needed

Post#1 » by LightTheBeam » Sun Jan 22, 2017 4:28 am

What in the hell. Joerger calls timeout they don't give it to him. Wade goes down the court and misses a dunk nobody even touches him and they call foul.

If the Kings lose this one I'm done. I've never seen the refs dictate so many close games that the Kings have been in this year it's disgusting. I'm not saying anti sacramento bias I'm just saying this league is terrible officiating.

It's bad and it hurts, but we still had chance to win it. Chicago read a Cousins ISO perfectly. Double-teamed him and Cousins had the ball stripped.

It doesn't matter. This isn't the first time this has happened to us this year. For once I just want to say they helped us win a game we shouldn't of. Just disgusting. I won't give this trash league another cent of my money.

The refs should be absolutely ashamed and the fact that nobody will be reprimanded nobody will be fired just goes to show its all about the money. That was the worst call I've seen in a long time. All the while Cousins is getting pushed every play it's just sad.

Cousin scored 42 points tonight. Who was the second leading scorer that supplemented Cousins this game??

Afflalo with 9 frkin points. Next? 3 players with 8 points and then 7 and 6 and 5...

You want your best player with the ball in his hands for the last play of the game and it is unfortunate that his teammates was unable to score more than 9 points. I would be actually fine if another player had a good game next to Cousins and Cousins sets that player up for the last play of the game but that didn't happen at all. We are severely undermanned after that Rudy injury. There is no real secondary option. It's a bunch of meddling players that are meh to okay when it comes to actual NBA skills.

You guys got screwed, there's no doubt about it. I don't get why the Kings aren't tanking. Do any of you really want to get beat in the first round by one of the NBA's elite team?

Trade the vet role players who have value for younger players/picks and start playing the rookies already. Go full tank command to at least insure a 1st round pick this season even if Philly ends up getting swap rights with a better record.

As a GSW fan living in Sac county it bothers me watching Vivek make all the wrong moves because I want to see a good NoCal rivalry with 2 high caliber teams.

Too bad it looks like that won't happen any time soon.

At this point I'm okay with the tank. But at the same time Philly has been on a roll and with the pick swap it doesn't really make to much sense unless you think Philly will lose a ton.

Rudy Gay going down really screwed us. I really hope we can get a team who misses out on a free agent to take him for free. Someone who doesn't want to tie up long term money but can't sign anyone. Like orlando if they miss on free agents for free.

I think we should be looking to cash in Koufos, afflalo, Casspi, Collison on teams looking for help for whatever assets we can get. Dump Rudy in the offsesson. Keep the rest of the guys resign lawson, bring in Bogdan (can he play backup pg?) And try to sign a quality PF/ SF who aren't to old.

Would you guys want to throw a max at serge? How about decent money at Gallo?

Cousins/WCS/Papa
Serge/Tolliver/Skal
Gallo/Richardson
Temple/Bogdan
Lawson/Livingston

Not sure we could make the money work. But Cousins/temple/wcs/tolliver/Papa/Skal puts 7s at 40. 11 mil for lawson, 7 for Livingston, 25 for Ibaka, 20 for Gallo.

Is this team a 50 win team if things go right?

At his age, I wouldn't want to throw a max at Ibaka even though that's probably what he'll get this summer. I don't see that being a 50 win team either. We get a better fit at PF but that bench isn't good enough to compete out West in my opinion.

There's no way in hell the Kings can sign 2 Free Agents of that caliber this summer. Sorry to burst the optimism bubble again, but that has NEVER happened in 30 years of Sacramento basketball, and I see no logical reason why that would change now.

I would not want to. Right now the Kings do not have a clear #2 option. Look at playoff teams (50 win teams) around the league and how they're built, Derozan has Lowry, Kwahi has LMA, LeBron has Irving/Love, CP3 has Blake/Jordan, KD has Curry/Thompson, even Lillard has CJ. So, with that, giving Cousins Serge, at max none the less, just seems like a bad idea. Gallo doesn't fit the mold here either. Not for a 50 win team. For me, PF isn't much of a concern, Kings have WCS/Tolliver/ and Skal, I'm ok with those guys giving good minutes. If a max contract is given out, it should go to the back court, specifically PG. A #2 option who can score.

Agreed, anyone who is expiring or partially guaranteed next season that you plan on letting go should be sold to the highest bidder. Truth is getting only a 2nd rnd pick in return is better than nothing.

Yea I don't think Collison/Afflalo/Casspi are in this coaches future plans. WCS has been getting more minutes of late and starting to look better especially this past game, if we think he can be a reliable backup center we should move Koufos asap. Maybe even move both and let Papa get burn but that kid seems way to raw so maybe another year of wcs to see how he fits.

I'd imagine Koufos/collison package would have some pretty damn decent value to a team like charlotte who could definitely use both. Maybe Indiana would give their first for them? I'm sure the Celtics would want Koufos but at what cost? Does Rozier for Koufos has some legs to it?

I think plenty of teams will offer something for afflalo or casspi as wings are always a premium. Afflalo has actually looked pretty good lately but I really want them all moved so Richardson can get the bulk of the minutes!
