Bogdanovich training

Post#1 » by Sactowndog » Sat Aug 5, 2017 11:56 am

Does anyone know if Bogdan is doing any work learning the Kings system this summer? I noticed Theis is over here for two weeks before playing for Germany and others are skipping Euros altogether. I hear nothing about Bogdan...

Anyone have any insights?

No, he is with national team and train with them. Don't have any special training. He was in USA just to sign and meet teammates/coaches etc for few days. He will probably go back to Sac just after Euro championship is finished for his national team.

That's unfortunate. Other players have made significantly more effort to spend time learning their new teams system. I suspect it may hinder his impact year 1.

You can watch Bogdan now on this link, Serbia is playing friendly game against Greece curently, its 1st quarter. Teodosic and Antetokounmpo are not playing this game so Bogdan is biggest star on court :D

EDIT: Its halftime, Serbia 45 - 22 Greece, but Bogdan scored only 6 points if i noticed well.

EDIT: End of 3rd quarter, 66-36, Bogdan is not playing too much but he is very good, 11 points (3-3 for 3)

Bogdanovic played really well , in absence of Teodosic he played little bit of PG , he did not played lot of minutes but he was close to double - double , he was just amazing in all areas of the game.

Just to be clear, I don't question Bogdan's talents. But even top NBA free agents like Gordon Hayward spend the summer with the coaching staff learning the new teams system. If true that Bogdan has not spent any time this summer with the Kings coaching staff learning the system he is going to start slow while he becomes familiar with it.

Dude you are comparing to contenders in a critical manner.

Let it lie man. He has SEVERAL YEARS to get familiar before it would be an issue.

There are ZERO expectations for this team next year. No pressure.

Dude it's a discussion board. Look at the projected win totals my expectations are clearly low....
