I didn't realize the Hornets were playing this badly. The race to the bottom this year is worse than I thought it would be.

Wait... how the heck are you guys DEAD LAST in both offensive and defensive efficiency yet only one game behind us coming into tonight?

We're ranked #27 offense and #11 defense.

I plugged those numbers into the quadratic formula and it said we should have a better record than you

Our losing knows no bounds

Well G1C is LEGIT. I loved finally seeing the arena. Ate a nice meal at PF Chang’s beforehand. Wow....

The game on the other hand? We played uninspired basketball. The team lacked any sense of urgency on the defensive end. Charlotte knocked down shots but we gave a subpar effort defensively. Slow rotations to shooters, bad close outs. How is it that we shoot 50 plus percent from the field and get our teeth kicked in at home? The defense was just flat out awful. These last three games have been the worst basketball of the season.

Oh, but at least my kung pao chicken was good! Lol

Can’t figure it out. Ha. Quite honestly, back to my rant on the team playing uninspired. The bench was QUIET, no energy. The team seems very disconnected. Wish I could be a fly on the wall in their coaching huddle.

How did no one here laud Skal's career game? Was he bad defensively outside of counting stats?

He looked a lot better than most of the games he’s been in this year. He had a really good game. Most of his production was in meaningful minutes. I believe he had something like 8 and 10 going into garbage time. Then he became the focal point with the young guys on the court.

Skal is really weak and his help defense IQ is a bit low. One thing I saw that night was that he perfectly boxed out an immensely stronger Dwight Howard twice in the 2nd half. One was pretty much textbook. I was excited to see that because i was pretty much certain that one of his limbs were going to snap, but he stayed low and kept Dwight on his back.

This wasn’t Skal’s best game, but he played well.
