Looks like he will be getting a roster spot.
Watching Summer League, Kyle Guy is putting up the numbers but just watching the game you can tell Justin James has actual NBA potential. I've been impressed with his defensive IQ and efficiency so far. I know it's not a huge sample size but he's putting up a TS% of 65.2%, 128.6 ORTG, 104.0 DRTG and PER of 20.16 so far in Vegas. With the California Classic included, those numbers are 56.5%, 116.5, 102.7 and 16.45. He's showed some real flashes of 3&D role player potential.
Congrats to Justin on the contract!
Kings take Justin James at #40 [Signed 3 yr minimum contract Pg. 2]

That's a big win for James to get two years guaranteed. Especially considering we have 3 seconds and a first next draft.

That's probably the last we see of Justin in SL.
I'm happy with the signing. Time for the coaching staff to get to work.
Justin should see some time in Stockton this season too
Edit: Nevermind I see that James is hurt and will be sidelined.

I hadn’t seen any SL, being in Europe currently, just been going off box scores. But good if he’s been showing some raw skills/talent out there
