Ariza looked terrible tonight and Buddy is the only guy who decided to show up. Barnes had a solid game too but Fox, Bagley and Bogi all crapped the bed too.
Bagley really needs to develop some skills with his back to the basket and improve his touch. He goes to the same spin move and hook shot every time and ends up clanking it off the rim.
I’ll chalk it up to the foul trouble but Fox just looked really disinterested out there tonight. Didn’t play with that intensity we need from him.

Bagley's 14/10 line is misleading as hell.

Not a good start for the team or the coach

Ayton manhandled him all night.

This was an awful loss. Fox just didn’t look interested from the tip. Bagley and Bogi looked awful. Just a really bad start to the year.

That was likely the most unprepared team we've seen start the year ever, and it's not like being unprepared is a rarity with Sacramento in the last 15 years.

Re: Game #1 Sacramento vs. Phoenix
Problem was two pronged, the young players not enthusing is and the new additions being worse than predicted. Dedmon from watching him one game is a continuation of WCS in how he will drive me nuts
I’m not even going to get into the Joerger thing tonight, but suffice to say I thought he was a good coach who maximized his talent
But, as a fan, even if that conglomerate of youth, vets, coach do not stand out, we got to take it game by game and just appreciate having a team. It might be better to get a high pick for the viability of the team

Re: Game #1 Sacramento vs. Phoenix
Last night was super disappointing. It's like the whole team decided they were going play Melo ball and not pass. Even Buddy, who did well, spent a lot of the time not running any sort of offense. Bogi seemed to me to be the worst offender when it came to that.
Hopefully, they come a little better prepared on Friday.

Fox, Buddy, Bagley all hurt. And someone told me Bagley got hurt in garbage time? Awful.
