Yikes, I knew he was bad this year, but had no idea it was this bad.
A couple people on the Hornets board have mentioned him as a potential trade target for us, but sounds like he is horrible defender and lost for most part on offense.
If we did make a move for him I think it would be mainly to play Center, what are your thoughts on his best position? Does he struggle at Center now?
Thanks

Re: The Marvin Bagley III Thread
Dudes been injured most of his career, hasn't had a chance to create a flow and there was no offseason/preseason this year. To quote the great Aaron Rodgers "relax".
Eisenheart wrote:this guy was an obviously bust from day 1. a big who can not defend for his life and has no other skills. his only "skill" was his motor wtf show me a car that drives only with a motor. he can not shoot or pass or dribble or create something for himself or other teammates. his motor did not help to improve in any part of his game... also he is soft on court but has a big mouth outside and is a locker room cancer now.
"Out of all PF and Centers in the league that has plays at least 20 MPG (58 qualified players), Bagley is ranked:
58/58 in eFG%
58/58 in TS%
15/58 in TRB%
53/58 in AST%
48/58 in STL%
47/58 in BLK%
22/58 in TOV%
4/58 in Usage Rate
57/58 in Offensive Ratings
47/58 in Defensive Ratings
58/58 in Offensive Win Shares
53/58 in Defensive Win Shares
1/58 in Quickest Double Jumps
To summarize, nothing he has done has helped with winning game. He's dead last in all shooting stats and the least efficient player. He does not create for others. He does not play defense, ranking in the bottom 20%+ all defensive stats. His usage is 4th highest despite how poor he has been playing. The good news is his double jump is still quick."
it was such a kangz move. and everyone with eyes knew it. thx vlade, now lets have fun with the next decade without po`s. but I'm happy that Luka found a professional franchise, no player with talent deserves the kings. hope Fox finds his way out

Bags putting together a decent stretch of ball. The defense still isn't where it needs to be, but he even seems to be slightly improving on that end. Doing great on the boards, and specifically the offensive boards the last 2 games as well. And his shooting % is +50% 8 of the last 10 games. Still think Kings fans need to give him more time before calling him a bust. That injury and taking the year off clearly messed him up.

Agreed. I actually thought his speed and height were a problem for Zion against the Pelicans. Seems like he's focusing on improving the right things. His shot selection has been better too. Not trying to force as much and his corner 3 is a nice addition especially since he can't hold down the center position right now.
