Nah, he's had way too many chances to ask out. Even when he supposedly asked out before, it was Westphal pulling a power play because Cousins said if you don't want me than trade me. When the fans turn on him is when this will get iffy. They kind of started to and I did notice kind of a carefree attitude from Cuz in the last game, which was either a really good thing, or a bad thing.
And to me I hope that's not an issue for DMC. To me, Cousins is top tier talent, in a league where top tier talent means a lot, that might not be recouped by Sacramento soon (either via draft or FA). So to me personally, the city actually needs him more than he needs the market, and so it might be incumbent on the market to make him feel good about remaining here past this contract. I know others take the opposite view on that, and would like him to shape up or ship out. This is an egotistical cat who likes loyalty, and you saw how he reacted to Karl's comments in the summer, so I hope he doesn't perceive such things as 2 hours of criticism on Grant's show as harmful to his relationship here
