Thanks JustForRelax for the great insight. I love to know everything I can about players for my team and it looks like you are the same way with your team.

He was careless with the ball, lazy passes and turnovers, stupid shot selections, zero ambition and responsibility... I did not watch him in NBA, i have no idea how he got a role, even in Sixers. But maybe this is what it takes to make it in NBA, playing selfish and filling the boxscore.

Well, you should be really hating him  I already posted their stats for their last seasons in Euroleague. Their per-36 stats are almost the same and Saric was playing for a good team as well. And you are almost saying that Saric is a very bad player and Bogdan is very good. Yes Saric cannot responded to expectations but he did not utilized correctly in Efes. What is more, his BB IQ and feel for the game is really good, hence even though he has the shortest arms in the NBA and being not athletic, he's not a reliability on defense.

I am sure lots of Kings fans here remember this game

You better know. You saw per 36 stats and he watched every Fenerbahce and probably a lot of Efes games where Saric played. And 36 stats can describe BB IQ and defense presence really good.. omg what I'm reading in this thread.. From things that Bogdanovic can play from 1 to 4, that Kalinic and Udoh are better than him etc.. Don't comment if you watch just final 2 games of Euroleague.

Lol, I watched every single Euroleague game of Turkish teams this year and last year. My favorite team was also playing in Euroleague. Saric put a very similar stat line with Bogdanovic with only 4 minute difference. I'm not comparing 5mpg and 30mpg players. Saric was not a joke in Europe, he was even an MVP for a month in Euroleague and MVP of qualification tournament that contains Giannis Antetokounmpo as well. If you watch only couple of 76ers games this season, you can easily see his abilities.

Well maybe he did not give his best in Efes, a team with no fan base and no pressure for success... I don't hate Saric but there is one guy i hate in Nba, Westbrook, so that should tell you something :) stats don't mean much to me, i watched Saric play for 2 years in Europe, the guy was a disappointment. Saric i remember was heavily dependant on his jump shot, was not willing to pass the ball, non-existent on defence, terrible decision making, always a failure in big moments and big games... He was a good rebounder though. Like i said i did not watch him in NBA, maybe he just decided to play now that he is in the bigger arena or maybe his skills are better suited for NBA

As a Fenerbahce fan, i have been following him since his Partizan days. i was satisfied when we replaced Bojan Bogdanovic with Bogdan Bogdanovic because Bogdan was the superior prospect overall. During his career in fenerbahce, he never disappointed us and during his injuries we truly missed his presence on the floor.

like justforrelax mentioned, He is a complete basketball player and i am very sad to see him go. He always mentions about nba and he really wants to go to the USA to continue his pro-career. He believes it is an unmissable opportunity in a lifetime.

He is a great guy, team player, one of the most beloved players in the team by the fans. His definitive upsides are: Basketball IQ and Ability to play clutch moments. He has had several even half-court or beyond halfcourt buzzer beaters in his Fenerbahce Career. When it comes to basketball iq, it makes you feel like when you watch him, this guy uses his brain as much as his shooting abilities or physical abilities on the floor. So basically, he is very good at comprehending the game played for that specific moment.

He is also defensively good, a two-way player. So overall he is a great team player who can utilize his skills up to a maximum point and he will exactly give you what you require from him.

However, i have a concern regarding current Kings roster. Kings look like the worst team for Bogdanovic because of the roster structure. Bogdanovic wouldnt be able to play 3 given his size in the nba and unfortunately Kings are stacked at SG. Malachi Richardson, Garrett Temple, Buddy Hield, Aaron Afflalo and Ben Mclemore are Sgs. So how come even Bogdanovic will be called for duty by the Kings?

There is a chance that Ben McLemore will be let go and becomes a free agent. Same goes with Afflalo. Temple is a multi-positional player. He's a PG/SG/SF mold of player. So, he will play SF when we need him to. Malachi is the same way like Temple but without the PG position versatility -- SG/SF hybrid. He will split minutes from SG and SF.

So, Bogdanovic's main competition is Buddy Hield, imo. Vlade has been saying that he envisions Bogdan playing the SG and the SF positions. So, who knows?

Hey KF, why do you think they will let Afflalo go? Wouldn't they wait for the trade deadline?

But yes, Bogdan/Hield takes care of the SG position. And yes, Temple is strong enough to play spot minutes at SF. Hopefully we get Fox and he gets to play lots of minutes Hield/Bogdan at SG.

Hopefully we get a SF in the draft as well? And then maybe snag Turner from Portland + pick(s)?

I don't see anyway to win this season with a rookie PG. So, just let the youngsters play?

Edit: Moving Afflalo for Rubio would be a possibility too if you wanted to give Hield/Bogdan run.

Afflalo is entering his last year of his contract:

17-18: $12,500,000

But here is the deal -- if Afflalo is waived on or before 6/23/17, only $1.5 million guaranteed to Afflalo.

I would like to think that the Kings would rather waive AA to avoid paying him the full $12,500,000 salary -- which leads to more cap flexibility and a roster space.

Good point... I wonder about a trade with Minny - Afflalo for Rubio.

But the larger point (that you are right on) is that having 12.5M is the better option.

And Tolliver is the same way, $2M guaranteed.

I've brought this up before on the board, Bogdan size wise is right in line with the average NBA SF in terms of length, standing reach, and height according to draft express's measurements database. I don't see him as a full time SF but the Kings are moving towards a positionless style of ball and his size might not be as much an issue there. If it is, then they'll obviously have to figure it out. Vlade has gone as far in one interview I saw to say Bogdan can play some PF! :o I'm going to assume he meant against really small lineups of course.

A little late and a little offtopic but Saric really played worse in Efes than in 76ers. Mainly cause he didn't try hard enough in many games. Now he plays like he played in Cibona and Croatian NT, with 100% energy and focus the whole time.

Bogdanovic 23points in 3rd game of finals. Again 3pt in last seconds to force OT.

I'm confused I thought their season was finished? And I feel sorry for the owners ticket revenue report.

The game was stopped halfway thru and the crowd was emptied out because of some fan disturbances. It had originally been a sell out.

Game stopped because of supporters so they continued match without fans. As someone mentioned game was sold out, it's Finals and they are rivals from the same city..
