1140, News10 and KCRA will all be showing it live online, and the presser has been pushed back a little bit, just FYI.

KJ is definetly making a plea/sell for other buyers to come forward and keep the team here. He really can't do much else.

Sounds like KJ's best leads involve a group with some local figures and lots of outside money

Presser over, and Mayor KJ basically said that city is NOT done fighting and the next step for us is to identify buyers that are committed to the city. He said that he's always been in contact with potential buyers, but he didn't name anyway.

He says he doesn't want to be caught flat footed like 10 times, but it only highlights that he just did.

You'd imagine he'd have more then what he made us think he has in this presser, which is basically nothing. hope to god I'm wrong.

Sorry KJ didn't convince me. Doesn't look good.

My gut feeling is that he was completely surprised by the timing and amount of the Seattle offer. My guess is that KJ and his potential buyers were expecting a much lower price in the event that the Maloofs did sell. He was probably so hesitant to respond to the buyer questions because they probably have to completely retool the group if they want to beat the Seattle offer.

David Aldridge said the Maloofs REFUSE to sell the team to Ron Burkle.

To me, KJ looked like he was caught flat footed and was stumbling to seek answers.

That said, the news went up so fast, KJ didn't have a chance to prepare for a battle. I think in the next week or two, we will have a better notion of what's going on and who are the potential buyers.

It's not over yet.

Was that from when the team was supposedly not for sale to anyone or was it from today?

He just said it live on NBA TV.

My guess is because the "Burkle Bomb" delivered by KJ played a big role in keeping the Maloofs out of Anaheim. No Burkle, and Sacramento would be a memory by now.

You may need to get Larry Ellison on board. Cohan would not sell to him at any cost. He may want to move the kings to san jose, so that still may not fly with u guys

I feel for u guys. My dad lost his raiders(never jumped back on since al was alive) & we both nearly lost the giants

My brother n law is from sac and he will only watch playoff games. I hope u guys keep ur team
