Has anyone else heard the latest rumored deal?

What I saw (shown to me by a friend on several of the smaller and local media outlets) was Rudy to Chicago, Taj Gibson to PHX and Brandon Knight here.

The money - to my best knowledge - is pretty close to spot on and the fit for all three teams makes WAY too much sense to not do it.

That's terrible for the Suns.

That "rumor" came from the T&T forum here on RealGM. Not a credible rumor.

They'd save a ton of money.

I saw this rumor here

http://en.yibada.com/articles/145876/20160727/nba-trade-rumors-taj-gibson-phoenix-suns-brandon-knight-sacramento.htm

And here

http://www.inquisitr.com/3367618/nba-rumors-chicago-bulls-phoenix-suns-and-sacramento-kings-talk-three-way-trade/

Im unsure where it originated but I doubt the T&T board has that much power now a days. However if some knucklehead can start "rumors" on the T&T board watch out! I've seen some crazy stuff over there

I would not trade Gay and believe we need him in order to complete.

I wouldn't give him away but we definitely don't need him to succeed.

Westbrook resigned! Wtf!

The Thunder were 1 game away from the Finals a few months ago and are a perennial contender. The Kings on the other hand...

i think its still a 50/50 chance he stays or leaves.. if okc lost westbrook though that would have placed the kings management in a lot of pressure regarding the cuz situation... now they are thinking if westbrook is staying then theres a chance cuz stays as well as long as we sell him perfectly that the kings will be the best 9th-10th seed in the west lol.

I think the team will be competing for a playoff spot, but I also think Karl and some of the holes in the starting 5 have held us back. Now with at least competent players all around, and the team actually buying into the coach I'm looking forward to it

The biggest impediment IMO to Cousins re - signing now are the critical media and half the fanbase that doesn't appreciate him (as in what goes on at STR). He is an observant player, and the phenomenon of that could come back to bite the franchise two years from now when he makes his decision, or coming to terms on an extension (unfortunately for the fans who believe he is talent that won't soon be recouped)

Cousins is bigger then Sacramento. As in we are not a lovable destination as of now and he is top ten talent, and I think a lot of time that gets confused locally. But he is a loyal dude and as we start winning, I anticipate a lot of the negativity going away, and he will stay

I completely agree. I have said this before, but this could be the first full season cousins has had with a decent team and at least an average coach. I fully expect us to be competing for one of the last playoff spots.

And he can up his own game. He is in great shape and is maturing fast. he can be as good of a player as anyone in the Western Conference sans Golden State, then he can carry this team

Return to Sacramento Kings
