Maybe. That would probably come at the end of FA. This deal would allow you to clear cap beforehand. All depends on if the Kings will be offering big money.

Doing that with Koufos would be a bad idea. He has much more value on the trade market. Throwing away yet another asset for a little more cap space would be a bad idea for the Kings.

They're much better off doing that with an expiring contract. Technically, they should consider this with Rudy Gay before they consider it with Koufos. If the Nets were willing to throw us an asset back in return I would be open for it potentially, although they almost certainly can do much better for Rudy.

It could be an option potentially for Darren Collison. If he is going to miss a significant chunk of the season, why not use that $5 million to bring in a player we can actually get a full season out of? They could also do it with Caron Butler and save $1 million in cap space.

I know they won't do it, but why not offer the Nets Rudy Gay in exchange for Rondae Hollis Jefferson and Jarret Jack? Get significantly younger, immediately improve perimeter defense, and create like $11 million in Cap Space for what is essentially an expiring contract?

Maybe they would give us Bogdanovic instead? Or Kilpatrick? Or maybe LeVert or Whitehead?

Kings still want Lee however if Lee doesn't work out we may want Waiters or Stephenson .

Also Kings have interest in T.Allen but to get him means trade . Likely will only seek that out if all else fails and even then it may be tough getting him .

I really hope they look into acquiring Fournier somehow. I would much rather have a 23 year old that they can mold than a guy like Tony Allen, let alone Dion Waiters or Lance Stephenson. I really hope they aren't seriously considering Waiters or Stephenson. Can you imagine a starting 5 with Boogie, Rondo, and Lance Stephenson?!? That would put the Jail Blazers to shame.

I appreciate the hot takes and everything that you bring in here. Whether they happen or not, it's fun to speculate.

However, you gotta understand, people make wild, baseless claims on internet forums all the time. 99.9% of it is complete bull. People are naturally skeptical about this kind of stuff. When you post stuff like this, theres natural going to be some blowback here and there.

Having said that, you seem awfully sensitive about this stuff. If you are posting about "insider sources" you have to expect that people are going to be skeptical to say the least. You seem awfully quick to assume the worst and lash out at people, even if they aren't even talking about you.

I really like Fournier as well and I have learned that the Kings will be looking at all options at guard and wing. I don't think that the magic will let him go easily especially after they traded Olidipo. They have a lot more space to work with than us along with the fact that he is a RFA.
