We will make a move relatively soon though I can't say when as of now but I will say Divac is determined to make a move very soon because it is expected that based on the first move there will be at least 1 more move / trade Divac will do and he based on the first move will need to address any needs we have for the second . He is determined as he should be to get us into the playoffs this season as he should be

There is a possibilty Gay to the Bulls involving a deal with Gibson & Dermott however it is possibly though lesser likely a bigger deal involving Gasol as well . I know the Bulls have contacted us directly and have mentioned all 3 of those names in deals with us all involving Gay .

I am 90% certain if we do any trade this season Gay will be traded if he is not then we will likely not trade at all this season or only trade very small pieces such as Butler & Anderson .

Most likely traded Kings are :

Gay
Butler
Anderson
Belleneli
Colison

Lesser likely but may be dealt are :

Maclemore
Koufas
Curry
( right to ) Moreland

Most likely kept

Rondo
Casspi
Acie
Cauley Stein
Dukan

Guaranteed to keep barring him blowing up big time

Cousins

I may be wrong but I believe we will get our first trade this season completed by Feb 1st we will see

If you wanna be the inside source here it would help if you spelled the players names correctly ... Interesting info here...

Gay for Gibson and McDermott doesn't fix our defensive issues. I'm ok with the bigs, its our guards that need upgrading. I'd pass on Gibson at this point WCS looks outstanding and filled that need.

Is that what your on this board for to criticize others on spelling really ? Very uncalled for & so what .
As per inside source you don;t want info I won't give it no big deal .

Woah buddy I'm not insulting you or at least I didn't mean for it to come off that way. I've defended you in the past and enjoy your posts, don't confuse me with that. It was just friendly advise to strengthen credibility was all. I apologize if you were offended.

Well I do appreciate the apology as most people IMO would have to much pride to do that . So Thank You for that . Yes you came across wrong to me but all is good . I was surprised as I never had an issue I can recall with you & I enjoy reading your posts as well .
I am here to have fun as well as give info if wanted ? Insight at times . Not looking for any unwanted drama .
Again my spelling sometimes is bad as I get very busy and type fast so that has & will happen again I am sure .

I get the credibility as you say . I do what I can & I don't always have time to even edit my posts I have so much going on which is why I am limited on the time I have to come on this board .

Again Thank You for the respectful reply sincerely and I will update any inside info that may come my way .

Woj: Pelicans offered Gordon/Gee for Rudy Gay

Sacramento and New Orleans have discussed a Rudy Gay trade, but the Kings are unwilling on a deal that would center on Eric Gordon and Alonzo Gee, league sources said.

Where there is this much smoke I can only assume that Gay is on the block (not coincidentally when I personally wrote the tide was turning against him post-Pelicans game). The thinking might be if WCS starts that Omri has earned the starting SF nod. There has also been rumors of in fighting between Cuz/Gay

If the Kings are unwilling to do this trade, I wonder what they are looking for? I agree that the deal proposed isn't the best but Gordon would be an instant upgrade from Ben and Gee is an underrated wing defender. I wonder if they are holding off for Ryan Anderson. Throw in Collison & Belinelli.

Rondo
Gordon
Casspi
Anderson or WCS
Cousins

Looks like dozencousins info came through.

Yeah, no thanks.

Very interesting, I'm guessing New Orleans contacted, Vlade asked about Anderson in a package, they rebuffed hoping to get Gay on the cheap cheap, so Vlade leaked the offer?

Wasn't word just last week that Vlade wasn't phones off and not looking to make deals?

Is he an upgrade? What if Ben all of a sudden stepped up on the pecking order and finally started to get a real piece of the offensive pie? If Vlade believes in Ben that means he has to believe in his offensive talents because that's where his talents are going to be.

I'd really hate to see them let go of Collison. If you watch him on the floor, he's the only guard on the team that can stay in front of his man. It's another one of those deals that sets you back in the area you need to improve in most. Belinelli is another story. You can't have Ben, Beli, and Gordon. I shudder to think what Karl would do with that. :-?

That also explains the part about there needing to be another trade to make it make sense as dozencousins talked about.

I don't know how comfortable I am getting FA's this summer when the cap rises for Rudy's multi year deal, but we will see what the return is if Gay is moved

Sad it has to come to this for Rudy. Always had love for him, and he took an under the market deal to stay. Going to Sleep Train I swore I could have seen as many Gay jerseys as Cousins last year, fan favorite. But if we have too many offensive players as Karl says, than I guess we do

The thing about the New Orleans leaks is that maybe Vlade is just retaliating for the Pelicans leaking we possibly offered Gay for Anderson and never wanted this out. Who knows

M source is reliable overall however let me state the deal Woj reported is not to likely to happen . See page 4 of this thread for the likelier trade situation .
Kings really want to upgrade the SG position . Maclemore would serve as a back up or get traded down the line if we can find that SG we have been wanting since drafting Mac then Sauce now signing Anderson & Marco neither doing what we have been hoping for .

Gordon may or may not work out but he gives us 2 things .

1 . A chance he may work out as he is a solid vet when healthy & i f he stays healthy and plays well you can likely resign him a lot cheaper than his current contract .
2. If he doesn't work out he is many millions of $$$$$ off the books & the Kings are hoping to be major players in the F/A market this coming season while keeping Cuz & Rondo going into the new Arena

See my original post on page 4 for what would be a much likelier trade that actually has been talked about quit a few times & to be clear this is a deal N.O. proposed to us contrary to reports saying the opposite .

I am not saying Woj won't be correct exactly or I will directly . Trade offers get changed left & right & tweeked but the basis of what I reported Jan 1st is correct . I expect some kind of deal soon .

Guys I expect a deal done pretty soon overall.

Ben's main problem is his innate passiveness and his lack of peripheral attributes i.e. ball handling, 1v1 abilities, etc. He may figure it out some day but we need SG production right now! Gordon is an established vet SG that can be relied on for scoring/shooting. The guy is averaging 6.6 3pt/attempts and is nailing at a 37.5% clip. What Ben lacks, Gordon provides.

Collison peaked last year, imo. Ever since he returned to the bench, his production dipped. His shooting and his overall steadiness/consistency isn't all there this season. I think you are overstating his defense. Seth is a lot better defender than Collison, imo. I bet if you give more PT to Seth, the guy can put up pretty darn good production.

I love that deal for us but I can't see Houston doing that. That would leave them barren at SF and overloaded at 4/5.

Small update : I can say that between last night & this morning we have been contacted once again by both N.O. & the Bulls .
I can also that Memphis has contacted us recently as well .
Though we could still get a straight up deal with either team it is looking more like a 3rd team may be needed to get any deal done .
With the Pelicans it is almost guaranteed that no R.Anderson equals no deal .

I am not 100% sure exactly however I am 95% sure Gibson would be sent to us with guys such as Doug McDermott & Nikola Mirotic in a deal with Gay out . Problem with Mirotic though Vlade likes him is less likely because Of Noah being injured the Bulls don't have much depth right now at any big position for them to trade Mirotic we would have to find a way to have Koufas involved and unless a much larger deal could be done then I don't see how both Gay & Koufas could both be dealt in this deal . Hence why I don't see Mirotic being part of a deal .

Mainly a deal has been centered around Gibson , McDermott & the # 1 pick we owe them maybe coming back to us .

To be clear I am not saying we will trade with the Bulls or claiming an exact deal if one is to happen only mentioning the main pieces we have talked about in combinations there of .
No deal is super close . I know the Kings would love to get Snell . I do know the Bulls see both Butler , Portis & Snell right now as some of their best young talents . I would lean towards the Pelicans as being the more likely partner as of now .

Thanks for the updates! Is it possible we can acquire Anderson, Snell, and our first rounder back in a 3 team deal?
