We all should have known after the Keegan criticisms in the thread he'd get hot. Murphy's law of overreaction.

I’m here for it Keegan! Nice so far. And at least benching Alex for 75 games might have made retaining him possible, but probably not

Good game. Just a bit jumpy down the stretch.
Fox was incredible and Keegan bounced back.

Warriors deserved this one again. Just gave up too many open 3s and they won't miss many of them.

Good game, the margin for error is small when you play the Warriors. Fox needs to work on drills going to his right.

Good effort!

I knew Keegan going to have a bounce back game today. Dude is waay too good of a shooter to stink this long.

Gotta defend home court. The Warriors will go for the kill in Sacramento. The crowd will need to go even more nuts than the first 2 games to propel the Kings throughout the game.

Domas need to be more aggressive on the offensive end. Dude looks a bit soft out there. Need to be more offensively confident out there.

Also, where was Kevin Huerter?

Dude was getting roasted by Klay.

He is not hitting shots either.

Continues to be a liability on both ends.

When will Brown will make the change to start Monk over Huerter?

If we bench Huerter, I think Kessler should get a look. I think he's a much better option guarding Klay cause Kevin is getting cooked out there.

Draymond was taunting at every play. Dude was screaming at our player’s faces and started to flex in front of the refs. Refs don’t do anything. He should have been kicked out a long time ago.

He needs to grow up a bit, and has been allowed to get away with stuff for far too long

I'd go Davion. I'd try to get max minutes from davion the next 2-3 games. Rest when curry rests tbh

Keegan, Davion, Fox were all amazing today. Not sure what Mike was thinking putting Barnes there. I get it if you want him in the game, Huerter has been awful. But Keegan or monk should have been next to fox with Barnes in the corner. I'd trust Keegan or monk to hit that shot a lot more than Barnes.

Huerter just absolute dog ***^. Cant shoot, defend, or even pass and just fouls left and right cuz he can’t keep up. I agree with the poster that said start Davion over him. Max Davions minutes against Curry.

I stopped thinking Sabonis will have a bounce back game. Looney and Green have done an excellent job on Sabonis. Better than anyone I’ve seen all year.

Warriors hitting a ton of 3s and we still had a chance at the end. But what a blown opportunity.

Yeah, I was disappointed Edwards did not get a chance to try to slow down Klay Thompson, who has been sharpshooting all series, especially since the Warriors targeted Huerter. With Davion on Curry, Edwards on Thompson, who else is going to kill the Kings?

The only problem pushing for more non shooters is it becomes easier to defend. I know Huerter hasn't been hitting, but it doesn't mean they have sagged off him. His shooting has directly come from Sabonis/Kings going away from DHO to Huerter. He simply isn't getting enough looks.
This is coming from the Kings trying to get Sabonis involved on the interior. The Kings need to lean into their offense. The DHO screen needs to be slightly higher than normal and once you have the defender on your back it's much easier. The 3s will fall, they need to just adjust to what part of the floor they initiate.

I would love to see Kessler start and then Huerter go up against the reserves. But, similarly to not making a move on Keegan, I would keep Huerter in and stay the course. Remember the time when people were going ape about Keegan. Well he is now shooting at 40% in the POs. Just need one game where Keegan/Barnes/Huerter are hitting semi consistently and it will blow this thing wide open.
In terms of Huerter, I mean this is why +/- isn't a great stat. Huerter led the Kings with +14 with no turnovers and 1 foul in just 21 minutes. He needs more touches that 4 attempts in half a game.

Oh and the Kings killed it in the possession game, but the Warriors shot 22/24 from the line and 50% from the field (that's with Dray going 3/14 - their starters were 39/69 ). Tough to win when you foul and give up easier shots from the inside.

Not playing games with him, my hate for him will be real if this is Huerter’s playoffs.

Start Davion 100%. Davion has upped his game in the playoffs
