Did I even bring up Artest? Those 4 three's were after the game was 8+ points away with 40 seconds left..

Question though...what was up with the timeouts at the VERY end? We call a time out to...have Artest throw up a three? I wonder if Artest was showing Theus what he REALLY thinks of his play calling.

I really think Kobe was playing with us the whole game then took over at the end of the game.

I think we need to start a campaign to get him fired. He is an embarrassment in so many ways. The Maloofs could do so much better.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Took over?! All he did is push off, drive, and get fouled....

Funny how he was YELLING at the refs when the Kings were up and suddenly...he started to get all the calls...

I'm not going to blame this game on the refs; instead, I want the Kings management to take a good, hard look at how horrible of a black hole Ron Artest becomes when he goes into "savior" mode.

Kobe did what he had to. He easily got past his man and into the lane, where the Kings would rather have foul than actually play defense. It's what we SHOULD have done the other way with Martin, but a combination of Ron's savior mode and the refs really not caring what was happening prevented that.

Who knows. We just went into 1v1 basketball after the lead starting to fall apart.

I dont know what you mean by that, but Kobe was driving and getting to the basket, whether he got fouled or not that still is taking over the game.

I don't know if I would say the last part. Ron Artest is easily the 3rd most talented player to ever walk through the doors in a Sacramento Kings uniform. But! If we are going to be watching 1 on 1 basketball John Salmons has proven to be one of the better ones in the entire league in that regard.

He took over the game...but everytime he drove past ANYONE it was an instant foul. He was pretty much shut down anytime he tried to shoot the ball and he kept going with the drive.

I didn't realize the Lakers got to the line so many times. They shot 23 more free throws than we did! Wow. Of course a lot of that was guys jacking up ill advised shots. But man.

We gave them a run for their money. I knew we were going to be able to do that but the game was right there for our taking. Grant kept on talking about how great Kobe was, he was 10-26, and six of those shots were dunks. Hes a great player but, he didnt play great tonight(except for the last couple minutes in the 4th). I just cant stand him.

I also thought it was stupid of Theus to start our bench in the 4th. He brought Beno in with 8 minutes left in the 4th, and Salmons was playing better D on Kobe then Ron was. Salmons looked real good, Finally. Brad played real well, atleast on the offensive side. Kevin looked good early but they need to find a way to give him the ball. Kevin needs to look for the ball and fight for it. He was getting mugged but, Kevin still needs to get his shots. He took one shot in the 4th and got right by Kobe that one shot he did take.

We played great for most of the game but it wasnt good enough.

So who are we going to draft?..

Great game and a good effort from the Kings.

Salmons is a fantastic player. Maybe the most underrated in the league. You have a keeper there.

Kobe struggled. I'll say some of it was good defense, and the other was due to just an off night; you can give Kobe fits, but he's Kobe Bryant, he usually hits shots no matter what. In the fourth, he took over, and the calls started to come our way. I thought Gasol got hit a lot and never got calls, but it just might be my bias.

Regardless, it was fun to watch, and I can't wait until Sunday. Hopefully that game can be just as entertaining.

I think the real question here is...

What is everyone going to be drinking tonight?
