Why does it have to be a first this year? The team is super young already, so I don't see why it has to be a first THIS YEAR. If we got a first in 2021 and a rotation SF who is young, I would totally be into that.

Well, in no small part do to my fandom. When the season ends I love going over the prospects. Would be a boring few months there after another non playoff season til FA

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt this team to play the young guys and let them know they have 2 seasons to get it done. I think that would be pretty motivational. But I get you BoogieTime it would most certainly add to your boredom.

I think a first in 2019 is a great way to start any and all conversations. A future pick could be OK, but the Kings are already at that breaking point where consolidation is necessary so the next best thing on top of it is an immediate 1st rounder to either recoup in the prospect department or add as sweetener.

I'm excited about seeing Bjelica with the Kings this season. With all the skills he has there is no reason he shouldn't help unless the coaching staff blows it.

That was solely Divac intervention and impact, he has a big influence in the club. I was often critical towards Vlade but this time I am taking my hat off in front of him for making this possible. This was confirmed by Serbian NT coach Djordjevic, he was thanking Divac for letting both SAC Serbs come to this September FIBA window. Let me say at once that they will surely not be on Djordjevic`s October FIBA window list of available players. On the contrary all other NBA teams were mostly strict when this topic is concerned. It is interesting that for match against Greece which Serbia still lost on Crete SAC Serbian duo was available while Kosta Koufus did not play for Greece. But I don't know the reasons for his absence. Actually Greece played without their NBA'ers but still they have more experienced, a more standard and a better assembled team.

Vlade should have shut down Bogi this Summer. He’s being paid a lot of money to play NBA ball. The Summer national team stuff is minor league and needs to take a back seat to the NBA season. Not happy at all with Bogi putting added miles on his body this off season.

And anyway, if his knee was not OK he would have just experienced issues at the start of camp. It's probably better that he found out this early that he needed to have another procedure done.

I am with you here - and were you one of the one's that wanted Donic… that would have given the depth at Wing that we wanted and another ball handler. But even there... Bagley/Giles might be it...

I thought Doncic certainly fit the supposed vision of the franchise better, but in the end I think Bagley will turn out fine. Early on it hurts because it appears as if Jackson still has a death grip on that spot for some reason. Jackson looks just enough like Matt Barnes to coach Joerger that his role is set for life.

Agreed that Bagley should turn out fine... wanted Doncic more to take the pressure off Fox having another solid ball handler and creator.

Vlade should have shut him down last March when he was clearly exhausted. Instead they played him big minutes for no reason and the kid got hurt. Just another example of poor kings management.

Kings are really about to give away a top 3 pick this year. I'm not sure I can deal with the assault of posters coming this way.

If the Kings players look this crappy more days than not you can't afford to wait. The Kings went all in on youth so with no pick and unable to even sign an arena staffer to a dream contract in free agency they'd have to cut bait.

Return to Sacramento Kings
