No thanks. That leaves the Kings with only 1 sf and 1 pg and no cap space.

But Dragic is european with cheap contract... He he

What does him being European has to do with anything? Just because Vlade is?

If you want to stick around, you need to come up with a better reasoning with your trade proposal.

I'm not sure what Rudy's deal is as far as demanding a trade or not. Voison reported he had asked for a trade but Sean Cunningham followed it up saying he hadn't. Voison has a fairly anti-Kings rhetoric so idk. We'll see what happens but you saying you know 100% he did request a trade is as valid as anyone saying he 100% did not.

I wasn't planting my flag on that point. I didn't look to far into whether everyone thought the trade request was legitimate. I figured that a Bee writer wouldn't say something that big without some truth to it but I see your point. We'll have to see what happens here. Rudy should clear that up if it isn't true.

Yeah and fwiw I do think he's getting moved regardless, I just don't see him fitting the defensive philosophy it seems we're moving towards, it's just a matter of who.

I don't think it's out of bounds to note Vlade's obvious affinity for Euro players. We have added 8 to the team in his tenure.

Would Sacramento trade Gay for Vonleh + Cleveland's 2018 1st and cap space?

Isnt obvious that vlade gets a lot of european players??. Setting aside that, with a hole at pg, drAgic and his cheap contract make sense

Grant and Jason Jones have both said Rudy Gay has made it known that he wouldn't mind moving on. He never actually demanded a trade. The two are different ... so Rudy is either passive aggressive or he really doesn't care enough to demand a trade.

Kings have too many bigs at the moment. If you would like to expand the trade and include Koufos along with Gay for Vonleh + a point guard or Sf + 1st then we might be able to work something out ... but honestly I dont know how Vonlehs progression has gone to evaluate the talent yet

I took your post as negative due to the Kings being the butt end of jokes by many non-Kings fans. If you were being sincere and genuine about your posting, I apologize.

Hope I didn't offend anyone here by suggesting that Boogie will walk...I do hope things work out in your team

I kinda consider saying you wouldn't mind moving on the same as requesting a trade. You're still the guy that wanted to quit on the team no matter the wording used. It's still super awkward for the team and the fans still know what's up.

I guess the differences is the harshness of the wording and the implication that you might still play if not traded. IMO the damage is done either way. Some could view it different.

I'd love to trade Gay/Ben for Dragic.. Both have been linked to Miami and also clears cap for them to throw max at Westbrook or Griffin. Dragic would be a better pick up than Knight actually he us on another level than knight.

Portland doesn't have a PG or SF to trade, but we might be able to get one by trading Plumlee and making it a three team deal.

I didn't want to respond to the Celtics trade as you know I want Cousins to retire here, but if Vlade for some reason ever felt different I'd rate draft assets higher than players. I like players like Bradley but this isn't a FA destination and players with only a couple years or so can walk

Boston is not even in the top for me we need star potential guys:

Bucks: Parker/Maker (They can build with DMC/Giannis/Middleton)

Lakers: Russell/Randle

Magic: Gordon/Hezonja

Right now, it is hard to see Cousins staying without a 40+ win season, and even then it is doubtful.

Vlade has done the right thing for the long term for the franchise, and everyone has to buy in to the strategy and I would hope Cousins was kept in the loop..

My best guess is he goes which explains the draft..

No way if we get 40+ wins DMC will stay especially if we got the 9th seed he'd stay just give him hope. And there's no way we don't get 40 wins. We got 33 with less talent, no defense, DMC missing 17 games, and loosing 3-6 games in a comedic fashion. We will get 40-45 wins

One thing that we have struggled with is finishing close games. Joergers Memphis team has been one of, if not the best, at grinding out wins in close games. Any improvement in that would easily add a couple wins with how many games we gave away at the end.

At this point I don't mind keeping Koufos is you can't get good value, our young players might need time

I'm very close with Rudy's family and what I will say is that, you are pretty much on point with your analogy on Rudy. Rudy is all for being traded, almost to the point where he welcomes it, if that's what the Kings want to do, but from what I know, it is not something he is demanding.

Whether or not Rudy wants to be here, he is going to be here if they can't get value for him, and I've seen his name in rumors since before the deadline of last year
