probably not as bad as it looks if your front office had any sort of vision or plan. but its pretty apparent given how the past few years have gone theyre clueless.

as a bucks fan, i fully understand watching a front office playing ****.

As a new season ticket holder who upgraded his seats for next season I feel gut punched. The team with its vets competed under Joerger and pulled some recent upsets and was one game out from the 8th spot.

Tanking and a fire sale of vets isn't a good way to close out the inaugural season in the downtown Arena. The downtown location, loyal fans and top notch arena will still fill up the seats.

Wouldn't be surprised if you guys play better without him. Sounds like he was really bumming everyone else out on the team.

SMH Are you kidding me? Cousins not playing, Kings get blown out by almost 40 against Rockets in December.

Cousins is still a superstar (who was willing to re-sign). This was awful value for him. AWFUL.

Value was awful but I always felt Kings needed to move on from Cousins as it just wasn't working. A move like this just makes you have no confidence in the FO rebuilding correctly now.

What can really make this deal blow up is NO misses the playoffs and lucks out in the lottery gets a top 3 pick and gets a dynasty.

It's the top three protection that kills me.

There is absolutely no way at all for us to see one of those top picks and for that reason alone this becomes a WTF situation no matter how bad things are.

Sorry Kings fans, you guys got hosed. You could've gotten a better prospect than Hield and the Pelicans pick will probably be in the 10-15 range.

Hopefully you guys strike gold with one of your picks though that will be tougher since Philly has the option of a pick swap with you. Good thing their record isn't that good.

They made a big mistake keeping him last year while his value dwindled. He's obviously been shopped for far higher values in the past.

I'm pissed charlotte didn't put together a package for him. They literally gave away a matchup nightmare for nothing in return.

I don't like cousins that much. I don't consider him a top 25 player in the NBA.

But they got NOTHING for him. Not a top pick, prospect, or collection of future picks. Baffling

Something that I haven't seen mentioned much with everyone pissed Sac didn't get a better package is maybe Kings mgmt and Cousins wanted to send him close to his hometown? Mutually agreed upon deal? I mean both parties can be frustrated with not winning but still come to a business compromise. They could've gotten a better offer from PHX or LAL or Philly or whoever but if Cousins preferred NO and he's on the trade block I don't think its insane for all parties to reach that sort of agreement. With all the double talk from the FO over the last few weeks I feel like now we can only speculate what the hell went on anyway. It just sucks they got 50 cents on the dollar for him.

My first reaction upon seeing Boogie grinning throughout his post-ASG interview: Yes I'm sure he was surprised to see it all come to a head and made official over the course of what? 24 hours? But above all he's optimistic for future with NO.

This trade will go as one of the worst in NBA history. No way I will continue to watch or support this team. I hope King fans don't buy a single ticket next season. Get the NBA ticket & start watching the Warriors. Vivek is making me wish the Maloofs were still in charge. This trade has guaranteed the Kings will be a 20 win team for years.

Lol. Yes a 6 month removed #6 overall pick is nothing. A mid-1st in whats likely the deepest draft in 15 years is nothing. Changing the culture of the franchise is nothing. The things people say on here are mindblowing.
